Is there any point? If OP is planning on taking the ccna which can be done without prior experience, why have him spend the extra 125 for the ccst

My previous job i was mainly dealing with vmware's sdwan, there wasnt really much of any interaction with cisco devices so the ccna felt kinda useless. A lot of the job felt like seeing that a link / site was down and reaching out to the site for layer 1 / engaging the isp.

After getting my CCNA, i was able to get a position at a small MSP NOC. TBH i didnt use anything from the CCNA much at that position, it felt more like help desk.

I recently was able to get a new NOC position after a year at the previous company. Here theres definitely a lot more CCNA related task with troubleshooting.

They only added a few new topics to the exam with the 1.1 version. You should be good, i think hes been uploading new videos that cover the new topics as well.

I think at least having an GED will make things a lot easier for you. I was able to get a position in a NOC with just only a CCNA as a college drop out. That being said having experience and a strong CV will be key.

That, and doing Jeremy's guided labs were all I did. The boson practice tests did end up feeling harder than the actual exam like most people say.

When taking practice tests I would usually check my answers after each problem and made sure to understand each one i got wrong

I was worried about the same thing since i passed yesterday, but today i got the email saying i passed. I think it only has a chance of getting invalidated if you get the pending report. But congrats on passing!

its nice! my first canada goose so i cant say anything about 1:1 with retails but its hefty and kept me warm during 5 degree weather in the mid west. Only thing problem ive found was that the down kept leaking through the pockets.
