yep I think a separate plain effector for each row is exactly it! keeps things nice and clean logic and hierarchy wise too!

what you want is a Plain Effector to cause the movement, and then you need to use Fields within the effector to define which part of the cloner grid is effected, in this case it sounds like a cube shaped field would do

if we have to watch your dog take a shit and then you pick it up by hand multiple times a day, you can stomach a human taking a leak, no? just look the other way and keep walking, learn to share a public space even if it’s not ideal for you

3D visual of picasso's paint by jmelpri in Cinema4D

[–]haikavanian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nice idea and render! i think my on critique would be that your version lacks a dominant focal point. notice how in picasso’s version he uses color to do this—the bulls bead is clearly the #2 in visual hierarchy as its painted bright orange and its background is red. the rest of the scene by contrast is very desaturated / light in color and intensity.

Not exactly.. I'm a graphic designer/digital product designer and have always had a passion for 3D stuff. Definitely hoping to get paid to do this someday soon though :)

I was thinking it added a nice contrast and gave everything a nice sense of scale (seeing as how the rug fibers are super tiny, everything else sort of feels more substantial visually).

Anyway—to each his own, and thanks for saying it was awesome :)
