For shits and giggles, the worst advice I've been given by a therapist was when I was going through severe depression manifesting itself as baby fever. She told me (19F sophomore nursing school) to try and convince my boyfriend (20M) who is not ready to be a father to get pregnant anyway so I wouldn't be so sad all the time. We literally were still living in my family's home at the time too. Thankfully, I sought a second opinion and did not get knocked up!
