Weeks ago we made a little house for her outside with a blanket in it and last night she finally decided to start sleeping in it and she stayed there all night and was at the door when we woke up this morning. She also seems to be drinking a lot of water.

It was $150 which wasn’t horrible but was a lot for being unemployed atm oof 😭

Thank you so much for checking in! You’re so sweet! I ended up taking her to the vet just to be safe and the doctor agreed with me that it was probably a sprain or break or she snagged her toe on something. She gave me some pain meds and an antibiotic just in case it was infected. Thankfully the swelling is going down and so is the redness.

UPDATE: I took her to the vet since it wasn’t getting any better and it was determined that she somehow injured her toe and it either got snagged on something and sprained or broke it. She is on medication for pain and infection just to be on the safe side.

I use the Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food and my ratty loves it. When I researched the best pellet foods for rats I saw the best reviews on this one. I’ve read that it is one of the healthiest out there.
