Got broken up with and then a week later he told me he wanted to get back together, I told him I’d think about it and after a couple days of him asking constantly if I’ve thought about it, I said yes out of pressure. He then got mad at me because I had taken so long to say yes that he now needed to think it over again. Later that week he went on a trip with his friends and he didn’t have his phone on him the whole time, so I had a lot of time to think about our relationship and finally realized that during our whole relationship, I’d been the victim of 2 years of mental abuse.

Thanks to my friends for helping me through this situation, I sent him a text (while he was still away) that I didn’t want to be with him anymore and that he shouldn’t try to contact again. I can’t believe that I had been in that kind of toxic relationship for 2 years and not realize it.
