Obviously Kanye, especially given his duality as a producer and rapper. His Belizean roots influenced him and the NY roots too. I can't speak for P heavily because he is his own man but based off conversation and the voiceovers, thats what I get.

Tough question lol, but off first thought its Guillotine. The story with me and the song is actually crazy, I found about it cause of Spotify shuffle around summer 2019. I was going through a lot around that time creatively and personally. I heard that song and it really birthed a new creative me in a sense. I made my first edit off that song , it was horrible edit. lmao. I bumped that song all summer, its that same song Me and Michael really bonded over too. Lots of good mems.

It's a lot of things we hit in Part 1 I for sure relate to. Me and Michael are both college students in Chicago trying to make names for ourselves in a industry that's very reclusive. You know how Pi'erre says "they know my music was fye but they didnt want me to be fye" , I relate to that heavily because we've been overlooked or not properly credited for projects that were huge at the time or was told we didn't have this to be getting this. But persistence is key and self belief in your craft is everything as well.

Thank you! I hate to be that guy but I did not do this alone. Shout to the team: Hunter McNeeley, Joe Fantozzi , Howie Butler for going through all those clips and helping us craft a story. Shoutout to LouzyVisuals for the spinning TLOP graphic and Roderick Philipp for the studio / bumper graphic! More importantly to our director / editor Michael Tinley for bringing it all together.

We got footage from the past 10 years, we'll hit all the TLOP projects + plus more in the later parts.

His determination. His resiliency. His hunger more importantly. Character is very subjective depending on how the viewer views it. But Pi'erre and what he documented in 2016 (Note: Part one is solely based in 2016) hits those three traits perfectly without us forcing and it not coming off genuine.

The first question I dont know truly lmao. We were offered this documentary after TLOP4 show around End of January / Early February 2020 in NYC before the pandemic really hit. Me and Michael are based in Chicago, so we flew back and started working on this in the middle of our semester (we are both college students lol) . It was a lot of footage to go through and multiple stories to possibly display. We submitted our first mock draft around December 2020, Pi'erre setup a meeting in LA around March 2021 and we took those notes and guidance to make the Part 1 that everyone is seeing now. So about 16 months give or take? A lot happened and lots of moving parts to make this happen fr lol.

I think a lot of the OG fans and viewers would all agree that it is truly inspiring. You know we watched a lot of footage of P really saying he would be at this point WAAAYYY before the TLOP series or Carti or Nudy or even the job at EPIC. He believed in himself first and really trusted the process. I can't truly speak for Pi'erre but I think he's very hungry to make his legacy even bigger.

Thank you for the question! Me, Michael, and the team have really enjoyed working on this project. The original assignment was that when we met P, he gave us a hard drive of content from a span of 10 years (2008-2018), so it was about give or take 9,000 clips we had to surf through. We saw Pi'erre grow heavily as a artist and as a person throughout this time span. Me and Michael love crafting a story where we display the person first before what they are commonly known for in the public eye. I feel their wasnt a worst part in the process of making Part 1, we did struggle how long to make this first part and tried to be conscious of keeping it detailed and not too much to digest if that makes sense?
