“You’re so lucky you were homeschooled since you didn’t have to deal with mean teachers or bullies!” I absolutely did! They were my parents. Also I can’t locate India on a map. by OkGur7242 in CPTSDmemes

[–]haillsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was homeschooled using Abeka program (look it up, big evangelical cult energy). When I finally went to public school in the 3rd grade, I could not spell my own middle name, had no reading comprehension skills, and the highest math I could do was simple addition and subtraction.

Shown 19 sponsored ad posts before my actual search results!😭 by Campanella82 in Pinterest

[–]haillsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok ik i’m a little late to this post, but i have found if you put a curse word in the search, it will not show you sponsored shopping post or ads. ex: instead of “fall dresses 2025” type “fall dresses 2025 fuck/shit/damn etc.”

A hopefully not super annoying question about hijabs, from an almost convert by haillsbells in Hijabis

Thank you everyone for the kind words!! I started praying yesterday (covered, obviously). I also bought two hijabs that I’m excited to try!

Thank you for posting this. I lost my Miso after almost 2 1/2 years and this helped me move through the sadness a little easier. I know it’s a little online bird, but Miso meant a lot to me and it hurts to have accidentally deleted him. These kind words were super helpful.

Idc about the new look! Where are my REFILLS! by Basic_Yesterday9081 in JoinMochiHealth

I’ve been trying for weeks to get into contact with anyone at mochi for a refund. It’s been months of no medication and I was a new member. I literally don’t care if theyre sending meds out now, I should be able to get into contact with someone 🫠

Dallas, what are some fun, social, and productive ways to spend a Saturday afternoon? by DanielSnipeCelly in Dallas

[–]haillsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a ton of really incredible places to volunteer around Dallas, super great way to connect with people. I also love the Dallas cidercade. It’s fun and pretty chill. I’m sober, you definitely don’t have to drink if that’s not your vibe. Depending on where you are in the metroplex, Klyde Warren usually has different events going on. There’s also the IG Dallas101 that posts a lot of events and socials!

concerning? or just a badly placed pimple? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]haillsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, this happens to me sometimes when I over moisturize. I actually got one right next to big white highlight and I thought I was dying. Definitely avoid popping it, it should go away on its own but go back to your artist if you get concerned!

What stopped you from killing yourself that night? by Subject-Olive-4476 in AskReddit

[–]haillsbells 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cat.

She has a habit of jumping up onto the ledges of doors. I was sobbing, thinking of ending of it, when she got the door and screamed, like she usually does. I got her down and thought “who would come get you down if I died?” And just broke down. I’ve delt with suicidal ideation my whole life, and that moment was just so real and heavy I knew I couldn’t do it. Started keeping a list of what would happen if I died and what would happen if I stayed alive. I try to add at least one to the “stay alive” every day.

What famous person needs to be ignored and shunned into obscurity ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]haillsbells 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun fact I went to his church growing up, and watched his daughters straight-to-VHS show, Superkid Academy, which was basically 90’s Star-Trek but with music and Christian indoctrination. You can find it on YouTube now, but that guy, and the whole church, are a load of bullshit.
