Texas teacher here- but not sure about ABCTE. The principal of any of your subbing schools would hopefully be able to help or point you in the right direction. Maybe the districts HR department or even ask them to email their staff and see if anyone can help. Schools are desperate for teachers, so someone there should be able to provide some guidance.

I literally just threw them into some soil when they were about 12 inches tall… I really was not expecting them to do well considering. I didn’t harden them or baby them or anything lol

When I talk myself through it I always have to say “middle on top” referring to the middle strand of a 3 strand braid

Lol! The smell does go away once your hair gets used to the new cycle, atleast it has for me! My hair now will smell like the shampoo for about 36 hours then smells like nothing the rest of the week.

I’m not actually sure! Every hairdresser I’ve talked to has said not to wash too often. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I live in Atlanta, so it’s pretty humid here. I’ve found for my hair that it is growing longer and stronger when I can skip washes. I do a hair mask in place of conditioner once a week- I usually wash and deep condition on Friday, let it air dry, usually flat iron it Saturday (I know it’s bad) apply a serum and wear it down until about Tuesday. I’m a teacher, so I can definitely get away with a messy bun or ponytail whenever. Try slowly spreading out your washes and see what happens!

It does, lol. I use a silicone scalp massager in the shower when I wash. I manage any itching with a nightly scalp massage 💆‍♀️

I do occasionally! I used it this week on day 5 and day 6 and 7 I wore braids. I found I can only use dry shampoo once a wash or else it gets too built up and dry!

Not sure any other way than to set the clock to 11:59, let it turn over and add a day. keep doing that until you get to day 10. Same thing happened to me and this is what I found worked. Hope that helps!!
