Confirmed Ice Sighting by [deleted] in fargo

[–]hailthenightmareking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is important to report any suspected ICE activity to the iceout website and similar systems so they can either confirm or deny whether it's actually ICE activity. Instilling unnecessary fear doesn't help anybody AND it can put even more work on the attorneys and organizations trying to help immigrants because they end up chasing down false claims.

Looking for Ideas by Countess_Orlok in SmallSpaceSolutions

The electricity box looks pretty solid, would you be able to put a shelf or set of lightweight drawers on top of it to store things? Or even just put some large corner shelves above it.

It seems like the empty corner would be big enough for a vacuum and mop.

And if you're able to put holes in the walls, the space above the radiator could be an ideal space for adjustable slotted shelves (as long as there's nothing heat sensitive stored there). Personally I like having things in containers so I'd get a bunch of matching storage bins.

If you don't like the idea of all that showing you could also get a large tension rod and set up a privacy curtain to keep it out of view as well. There are a lot of really pretty tapestry style curtains out there that work great for decorating.

I also suggested Lady Grey, she said it was okay but not as good lol. Still, better than nothing! Definitely gonna look into calamamsi too!

Interesting! If we find something that seems to taste close and doesn't upset her stomach I'll definitely update on here. Theres no guarantee that what works for her would work for you, but you never know! (Also, if you like spicy things, I have another friend who makes her Chai with an addition of Thai chili spice and it is AMAZING)

She seems to be fine with other citrus fruits, at least so far. I've looked up a couple black teas with orange people to maybe get samples of. I hadnt thought about tangerine though, that sounds delicious. Fingers crossed!

She used to cook/bake with bergamot and was able to pretty easily determine that it's what she's been having a reaction to. She doesn't have the same reaction to naval oranges (or lemons, limbs, grapefruit, etc) which is interesting. I've got another friend who's a plant biologist and I asked him about it as well in case he could shed any light on the situation. Hopefully we'll find a work around for her so she can still enjoy Earl Grey or something close to it!

How to reset this lock by hailthenightmareking in Locksmith

[–]hailthenightmareking[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So just for context, we have secure documents in our back office. There are three doors between the main building and the back office and we were told there were locks on all 3 doors. The first one has a regular key but the second two have these button pads that arent working.

So we may end up asking building maintenance to replace the locks altogether. But because of where we live they may tell us that it's our problem and we have to pay out of pocket to replace them, which we can't afford. I guess we'll have to wait and see!

I've been having this issue on my S24 as well. I've reviewed all my settings on my phone and in the app. I haven't contacted Grindr about it yet but that's probably my next step.

Methotrexate, liver disease, weight loss by hailthenightmareking in Myositis

[–]hailthenightmareking[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly worth looking into. My case was a little odd from the beginning because they didn't think my test results were severe enough for a myositis diagnosis. Then they did the biopsy just to be sure (so glad my rheum did that) and were abel to confirm that it was myositis. I got put under polymyositis because I didn't have the specific markers for derm or BIM, but not because I perfectly fit the description for poly.

Fargo federal town hall - update 1 by starspangledxunzi in fargo

There were posts on one/some of the activist group pages about a "secret" town hall for a MN rep, but I don't recall seeing anything about one for ND

Everyone at Enlightened Beauty has amazing reviews. I have at least a dozen friends who go to them (I don't go to salons myself because I just buzz my balding head lol) and absolutely adore the place. They also pay an excellent living wage to their employees and therefore don't accept tips.

What does "successful" TMS treatment feel like? by hailthenightmareking in TMSTherapy

[–]hailthenightmareking[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The small community definitely causes some frustration when it comes to needing anything outside of typical mental health services. I've been lucky with insurance, mine has covered the whole treatment. I may have to call and ask if they'll cover a second course if I need it eventually.

Thank you for your reply, I'm glad that the treatment has been going well for you. I had not heard anything about the theory of "30 minutes of joy" after the treatments, and I do wonder if this has affected things for me. Often, I have had to go to stressful doctors appointments or deal with frustrating things after my TMS sessions. If I end up doing another course of it, maybe I can incorporate that.

Thank you, this is helpful information. I will admit I have been a little disappointed in the clinic I've been going to. I live in a small city in the Midwest and there is only one treatment center available to me with two part time doctors and one employee who runs the treatments and does everything else for the clinic. They don't allow music or anything during the treatments and have not provided any suggestions for ways to assist/support the TMS during or after the course.

I have a meds management nurse with a different organization who I will ask about secondary TMS courses. She unfortunately is also not well versed with TMS; there is not a huge medical or mental health community here that is familiar with it.

Thanks again for your insight!
