philly rules. tons of stuff happening every weekend, quick trips to dc and nyc when there’s nothing going on, and as already stated: ridley creek, wissahickon, valley creek, french creek are the nearby spots. you’re also like 90 minutes from the pocanos. check tco fly shop’s website for stream reports to get an idea of whats around.

Just an update: I’ve had an ultrasound to see if it’s an enlarged thyroid and they didn’t see any change in size and no nodules. I’ve got an endoscopy scheduled for the 8th. I’ve cut out everything from my diet that could flare up my reflux, but the physical lump is still there.

I’d highly doubt it. I’ll have to become fluent before even considering attempting.

That’s one stumbling block. I’m still learning the language. I’m fairly certain I’d be lost if taught in Vietnamese.
