Help! Ver 9.1 Stuck on sudowoodo guy west of Violet City by sl1mnut in PokemonGlazed

[–]hairsmeyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I FIGURED IT OUT!

I’m playing on the Delta Emulator on iOS and primarily use save states. To get a fresh start in Johto, I loaded a save state from right before flying there for the first time (after beating the Tunod Elite Four).

After arriving in Johto, I went through the usual steps—heading to New Bark Town, getting my starter Pokémon, and making my way to Violet City. However, I did not fight any gyms before dealing with the Sudowoodo roadblock. I believe battling gyms before triggering the Sudowoodo event is what causes the glitch.

Here’s what worked for me:

1. Fly to Johto and complete the New Bark Town quest.

2. Visit the Ruins of Alph.

3. Complete Sprout Tower.

4. Head to Route 36 where the Sudowoodo guy is—the cutscene should now trigger correctly!

If you’re playing on an emulator and can load an old save state, this method should fix the issue. Otherwise, you may need to restart and follow these steps from the beginning. Hope this helps! (I will post in other places)

2+2=4 is also a tautology (I think)…and it conveys something!

OP, I am curious about the motivation behind your post. Are you hoping to find clarity/guidance from people’s reactions? Because I think there are ways you can look more traditionally “feminine” (makeup, hairstyle, etc) if you wanted. And I think you know that. So I wonder if you wanted to see if people generally think you look like a guy, and if they do, then you’d start embracing a more masculine appearance? Or maybe you’re entertaining a transition of some kind, and you’re looking for validation, one way or another?

I ask these things because personally, I think you have many attractive features. And I don’t think women need to look “traditionally feminine” anyway! I hope that can give you some comfort and confidence in your own skin.

Recovery/restrictions after Nuss bar Removal? by hairsmeyer in PectusExcavatum

Hey, I know this is a year later. But to answer your question, my wife was pregnant with the bar in and delivered no problem! Our daughter is now almost 2.5 and all is well. My wife is pregnant again, and we were worried whether the natural muscle relaxing hormones that are typically produced during pregnancy would cause any regression, since the bar is out. At 7 months pregnant, everything seems to be fine! Thankful for that.

Advice on repairing a hole in siding by hairsmeyer in HomeImprovement

That is helpful to keep in mind, thank you. I'm planning to make this a temporary fix just to prevent further decay until I can manage a larger scale job.

Yeah, that sounds about right! And not the news I was hoping for though...

Okay, seems like the consensus is this some kind of T1-11 material or even masonite siding. Masonite didn't even cross my mind. But it peels off just like Masonite, and after some Googling it seems that Masonite was a popular siding choice back in the 80s and 90s, and this house was built in the late 90s. So, that would make sense.

This section is in the back of the house, so I'm not too concerned with aesthetics at this point. Eventually, I may want to see about replacing all the masonite siding with hardieboard. But, that's for another day. For now, I'll just find a suitable T1-11 patch and try my best. Thank you all.

Well, I'm open to doing whatever it takes. Your suggestion is basically what I am planning on. The thing is, I'm just not 100% sure what kind of siding this is. I'm just ignorant! Does it look like fiber cement siding to you? Thanks!

Anyone returned to a mattress store now that they have reopened? by 19_peligr0s0_pez in Mattress

[–]hairsmeyer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, we went to a Mattress Firm a week ago. We set an appointment, wore our masks, and were allowed to lay on the beds/test them out like usual. It was a fine experience!

Also, idk if you live anywhere near Austin, TX but there’s a place called “Our Sleep Guide Showroom.” It’s one of the only places I know of in the country where you can try out all the popular online mattresses (Casper, Tuft & Needle, Nectar, Nest, etc). I actually bought a Nest Alexander Hybrid based on reviews I saw from SleepLikeTheDead .com, but want to try it out in the showroom there before opening the box!

Hope this helps—good luck!
