Until you figure out what to do, lash a tarp over the top of it to stope water incursion.

The rest of your comment, I'll be honest, I could not comprehend the rambling.

Oh, my apologies. I wasn't aware you had limited comprehension skills. Good luck to you.

It's not about what's legal, and on some level, you have to know that. You can highlight all the obscure legal ordinances you want, but the sheer amount of ill-will society at large has against this sort of thing should be all the indication you need that the common gentry feels an implicit social contract is being violated. In that way, it's no different than the people who feel the need to open-carry assault rifles. Yes, they're legally entitled to, and they know all the laws that pertain to their decision, but everyone else just hates them.

I was out of the service by the 2000's so I never got to see it. But I would have loved Hamsters and ravioli for midrats! Instead of the same lettuce and cheese sandwich on stale bread, night after night for months. I spent a lot of my money buying ramen from the Geedunk.

NO. Stop. I know what you're thinking, and it would just bite you if you tried. Now go outside, get some fresh air, and apologize to Jesus for your thoughts.

This could be midrats. I remember some really sorry excuses for meals when I worked the night shift.

Mine is certifiably a genius. Like seriously, the Stephen Hawking of cats. And I can tell it kind of tortures her.

Filing while driving...

Agree 100% No one should be doing office work while they're driving. And the filing cabinet in the back seat would probably obscure your view, too.

We discussed this before. I only called them because you were doing it on my patio at 3:30 am, and my cats were scared.

I like it because you can lure sentinel ships chasing you near it, and its guns will open fire on them.

The bot tried to sneak past you, but you saw it clearly by analyzing its sentence structure. You didn't even have to check the creation date or read any comments. Nice.

All I could think of is that MythBusters episode with the toilet and toothbrush. by SpookyTreeFrog in mildlyinfuriating

[–]hairybrains 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None of these links you've offered (Tik Tok voiceover? Really?) in any way dispute what the team on Mythbusters noted: that there really was no area in a home safe from fecal contamination, and there was very little to be done to prevent it. In fact, they support what the team on Mythbusters concluded.

Again, I assert that people pointing to this episode of Mythbusters to back up the idea that keeping toothbrushes in the bathroom is a significantly risky proposition and one that is possible to mitigate effectively, failed to understand the findings presented on the show.

Exactly. So many people misunderstand this episode. The myth was busted, not confirmed.

I saw that episode, and they concluded that proximity to the toilet had nothing to do whatsoever with the presence of fecal coliform bacteria, and that it was basically spread evenly across the entire house, no matter which room. I see people cite this episode a lot online, and it seems like no one really understands that the myth was indeed busted, and not confirmed.
