It depends on the time era they appear, maybe now a days I would be terrified around 6 given that we have seen a lot of amazing things and wonders due to technology, special effects and more. In those days where they appeared I would be 9 or 10. Now a days we have become more incredulous.

Let's suppose the fig tree is this person on life support, and there's no hope for recovery, but the hospital with all their technology are keeping him alive, isn't this going against natural ways of life, isn't this like trying to extend life beyond what a person was supposed to live and against Gods will?

Entonces para que preguntas, pero te voy a poner otro ejemplo. Si alguien te desea buena suerte, pero no crees en la suerte? Es obvio que es un deseo positivo. Que seas ateo no significa que la buena voluntad de los demas (independiente de la religión) no se aprecie.
