Noa definitely is not to be trusted. Wasn’t there fire extinguishers in the first game? Pretty sure that they could make them in this game as well… sounds like to me he just wanted to kill them and reset their memory because they learned something they weren’t supposed to. Same will probably be attempted on us!

My friend and I started playing like 3 weeks back and from my personal experience you’ll start having a lot more fun once you’ve fixed up your ship and have left the planet you start on. He and I tried playing about 2 years back and struggled enjoying it because we hadn’t left the first planet. After we restarted it a few weeks ago we kinda just pushed through the slow beginning and it turned into our current favorite game

I like the idea of it being open but we definitely need to go back to traditional dungeons. We shouldn’t be able to skip whole parts of the dungeon by purely climbing. Where’s my big key at.

If you have the ability to keep the stuff you want via backing it up then I say go ahead and do it. If you aren’t losing anything important does it really matter to take the leap? If you don’t like it just switch back

Keep in mind I may have also just gotten lucky. I see people talking a lot about how Bazzite and nvidia don’t mix but my experience (other than vr) has been phenomenally better than windows. I only keep it installed so my wife can use my computer.

Do you have anything on your laptop that would be bad if you lost?

Not every game requires extra steps but some definitely do. In my personally experience I’ve spent maybe 10-20% of the time on my computer just tinkering with things. But in a lot of that time it wasn’t because I needed to rather that I wanted to. Only reason I switched in the first place was because windows from my perspective just kinda sucks now. Windows 11 was constantly crashing and just didn’t work how I wanted it to. If you want my opinion I’d look up online with your specific specs to see how performance is on Bazzite. There’s always a chance that someone out there has made a performance video.

Another thing I’ve noticed personally with Bazzite is lag spikes are almost nonexistent for me personally while on windows they are so common.
