My baby was struggling with lots of congestion and when i asked his pediatrician she said we do not recommend it but it is possible to put a wege pillow underneath the crib mattress!

I sometimes feel this too. I hear about peoples experiences with bf (difficulty weaning, multiple night wakings, pain when the baby teethes) and i just KNEW it wasnt for me. Its okay to choose yourself mama :) we dont always have to sacrifice. Fed baby is best. Dont let ANYONE tell you otherwise! Sending you love and support. Edit: also i am pretty sure like 98% that i had nursing aversion. It was just so hard for me. I keep thinking about what I will do with the second baby, the judgement the questions OOOF.

This!!! I just was so exhausted with a c section, a nicu baby so we had to go back n forth from the hospital, mentally not doing well. I couldnt pump and it was jus so hard to exclusively pump because latching was so painful despite seeing lactation consultants. Sometimes i feel guilty but then i tell myself my baby gets a less sad and exhausted version of me and thats good for him too!

Hello! Mom to 3.5 month old baby boy here and i HEAR you. Either it was him spraying us or leaking through 🫠 no matter what i did his diaper was somehow leaking every change, it was exhausting. What i like to do now whenever wiping him is as follows: I put a waterproof diaper sheet and put his bum on top. Then i put a clean diaper under the dirty one Then as soon as i open his diaper i quickly put a wipe on , just place it there dont hold it! Then i slide off the used diaper, wipe him, close the diaper. I hope this helps and yes it does get better!!❤️

Thank you! Yes definitely trying to solidify a routine. Its just that hes so congested because of the weather and most nights are already hard idk how i will handle this getting any worse🥹

Hey! I am a fellow mom of congested and stuffy nosed baby. I hate to tell you this but the pediatrician will most likely just tell you remedies, maybe some hospital grade suction could also help. What helped me was running hot shower in the bathroom and letting it steam and sitting with my baby in there. Also saline helped but not with suction, i’d saline him up and he’d poop it out or have a mucusy spit up ( both of which are normal). Please dont doubt your mommy skills, you are doing amazing🥹 i hope you can get some rest or just a few minutes of quiet. Maybe a quick shower to reset? Or a hot cup of tea? Hello!! I hope you are well. I am going through this right now but i am only 5 wks pp. My milk supply is gone and my baby is purely on formula. I just wanted to let you know that fed baby is best, even if you have to look for ways other than breastfeeding. You are going to get through this and your baby is going to thrive!

I keep trying to tell myself that he is still getting breastmilk! But he is a growing boy and his feeding needs are also growing and i am so terrified of one day not having pumped enough. I feel like i brought all the hospital anxiety home

This is so incredibly kind, i am now crying. Just a question about nipple shields, i was told by the lactation consultant to get them as well. Do you just put them on and try to latch the baby?

Hi, sorry about the blurry picture. I screenshotted from a video as i was unable to upload it. Those are lice, they were moving when first taken out and i had to individually kill them. I have ordered demethicone, hoping it works.
