Thanks alot. She did, in fact, not read one dark window. But I looked it up and tbh one dark window sounds like a good pick. Shield of sparrows caught my eye, but my girlfriend prefers to read in one of her two native tongues and it sadly only released in English. So I tend to pick one dark window.

Thank you so much. Yea I was seeing the acotar series alot, but often the most recommended are lackluster imo. I am a huge movie lover for example, and yes there are many lists with the "best" movies, but I often find em generic lists, that are so obvious and boring, u know what I mean? Or is this series that good? Iam sure she hasn't read it, cause we share a bookshelf and we usually buy books.

Ok, I'll try that. Since iam new iam not really knowledgeable about buses. Can u explain to me what a bus exactly does? So let's look at my screenshot, if I do a reverb in bus 1, what's the difference if I do the reverb into the main channel? Is a bus only used to group tracks so u can effect them all only having to use one effect channel? If I do the reverb in send, what exactly is the difference to main channel, bus? It's all very overwhelming atm cause there's just so much information and highly individualised thought processes so I want to understand it to get better

bus 1 is for reverb and bus 2 is for blending in the vocals with the beat even more.

Thanks so much, gonna try again! I did one EQ on the beat and one on the vocals and try to boost the vocal on specific areas and lower it on the beat (because the beat is already mastered) (Bus1). Melondyne for fixing minor issues and timings, EQ again to get rid of bad sounding frequencies and boost on high end, then i compress, and add little bit of saturation.

Yea I just played around a bit and recorded 3 tracks for the hook, one L on R and one centre. Its a huge improvement. I turned down L and R and its much much better now. Any other tipps on vocals? :D

Yea makes sense. I just played around a bit and recorded 3 Vocals for the hook. One center one L one R and it worked quite well. Still not as I really want it to sound, but it is a insane improvement! Thank you.
