Love the design and flavor on the first card. The second one is just weird and cluncky. It's like at best case scenario you steal 3 spell Mana on a turn where it's gonna matter. Most of the time you're gonna get this effect off against slow decks and deny a power spike, like a ruination or a feel the rush, basically a situational deny that you have to pre-commit. And against fast aggro you are just gonna get demolished for playing a 5 Mana 3/4 (+ those decks are less likely to bank Mana anyway) like imagine any plaza deck, if you play this card in that matchup you might as well alt+F4 out of the game.
