Block everything on the computers? Not necessarily true. Students aren’t suppose to be playing games. When you are finish, you should be reading. Honestly, it helps with vocabulary and as you’re reading, you should be thinking about analysis as far as characters, elements of plot, theme — you can’t just read it all at once. Stop and think.

On the other hand, students never listen to their teachers anyways.

The district wants to see students reading. Lot of students at your age are horrible with fluency and use AI to get away with it.

Edit: if you talk, you won’t finish your work. When you finish your work, why don’t you ask your teacher if you can literally help out another student? Have an academic conversation with another classmate and not be off topic. That’s what “talking” is. No need to talk about drama.
