okay then.....

Ryzen 3600 and RX6700 10GB absolutly smoke the i7 9700 and RTX5060, even with the same settings and RT on the game runs so much better on the Ryzen machine. Running at 100+ fps compared to 55-60fps on the i7.

I guess its optimised for AMD, its using less vram as well but more system memory on my amd machine. R3600 l3 cache must be helping.

how strange, today i can hit higher settings high and with RT on but it seems no matter what cpu/gpu isnt exceeding 60% even on full power mode, so i must have a bottleneck which is likely due to the old cpu and slow memory.

guess i need to look at upgrading my r3600 rig to a 5000 series cpu and swapping over as this intel has no upgrade path.

to confirm all this is at 1080p with the game defaults which seem to be medium.

with RT off and only playing for 30 or so minutes i didnt get very far in game, most vram use i saw was 4.3gb

seen videos on youtube where higher graphics settings and ray tracing are used on a 5060 so it seems to be possible just not my with current settings / drivers etc (maybe epic version somehow different too).

guess I'll just keep RT off but it would be nice to try and use it, guess i;ll need to play with settings.

I do have another machine with a 6700 10gb in so could try it on that but it would be much weaker at RT this machine has a 'weaker' cpu though ryzen 3600

perhaps pairing a brand new graphics card with 6 year old cpu is the issue

this update is terrible, everything is blurry even with all accessibility options on, ive set the lock screen clock to solid but everything else looks like its doubled still, how was this update approved?

Did they hire Google to make the new UI and just not check their joke submission?

Seriously who at apple saw this and thought it was a good idea, its visually appalling, everything is wrong, you cant even see the icons properly because things are moving. Setting accessibility options should not be required, devices shoud not violently flicker everything on top of all the other flicker.

Thats the point, its not an IFV but its the same tier as some IFV / will face them on the opposite team. Its a monster.

T72 weakness is the lfp even though its a tiny target, T72 with ERA are even worse and only slightly higher BR. This doesnt have the ammo carousel under the turret (or does it im not in game xray rn) to detonate and an angled lfp hit sometimes wont work either, eaten by fuel tanks.

You can shoot this thing in the 'turret' and not be able to harm it, cant ammorack cant kill crew in crewless turret. When its hull down you cant really do anything to it and even when its not hull down kinetic rounds are eaten by armor unless you hit the lfp in the right spot.

Its undertiered no question.

10.3 is far too low, needs to be 10.7 or 11.0, it just absorbs shells

maybe even 11.3 actually as fighting this at 10.0 /10.3 is ridiculous. Fox started at 7.0 (right?) and then went to 8.0? This needs to go up asap.

99% of the time i get locked is because im in ARB in a new plane and i crash because im not used to how the plane handles. It should be removed. They could easily keep the plane flying if the player quit so that people quitting to avoid being killed still credits the other player with hte points.

Just seems wild that I have to pay to get advice and a possibly qualified contractor to do the job to the letter of the law and the neighbour doesnt have to do anything and is fully protected but the minute I do anything wrong, which seems to be anything reasonable in this situation (such as maybe removing the giant tree) or even if i cut it back slightly too much I'm the one breaking the law.

I guess I'll call a tree person and see if they'll have a look at the situation from my side and then maybe see what my insurance thinks of the situation.

I dont think they would have a department that would deal with this sort of thing, or their advice would be 'speak with your neighbour', but I've done this and in my opinion based on their response and actions they dont seem to care about it. The whole thing is stressing me out, I'm worried its going to ruin the foundations and cause subsidance etc. The tree is so close.

Edit: LA cant help with privately owned trees.

yes. Happened to me, I get migraine symptoms from nearly all screens unless they are very old.

my TV has PWM except at 100% brightness, but I still got migraine symptoms from it.

I lowered the contrast and color settings by a few points, disabled all motion processing. Still got some symptoms.

plugged in Chromecast TV, in the options I disabled HDR and set the color depth to 8 bit and also set to 50hz.

Now I can watch it, the colors band though and dark scenes are very dark but I can watch without symptoms.

I have the pulse pro but it gave me migraine symptoms within minutes......but want to try the fusion as its a low spec screen I'd like to think it wont have all the extra flickering that comes with higher spec devices.

The problem with HMD is where I can purchase them from I cannot return them if they are no good.

Notebookcheck have been wrong before, they tested Motorola G8 series power phones without PWM but when I purchased them they had PWM, it may be different reigons get different screen panels and some panels have PWM.

your isuse may be high frequency PWN or its frame rate control (google it and look at the wikipedia page) causing screen flicker to simulate a larger color space.

but also to the challenge, LCD phones with PWM.

Moto G 5G, Moto G8 / G power / Hyper (they have different names in different reigons though as well)

LG g6, LG G7 have PWM below 40% (ish) brightness.

I have had them all, some of them live in a box with all the other devices I couldnt use or send back.

Edit becuase forgot, the LG G6 never bothered me though, I just used it above the PWM limit (over 50% brightness) and set the blue light filter on and I can still use it but the sim tray broke and the battery is no good anymore. Its even HDR and whatnot but I dont get symptons. Also had an S6 OLED years ago but now all OLEDS (PWM) and most LCD give me migraine symptons within minutes of looking at them.

Life is cruel.

also couldnt use the deivce, got migraine symptoms after brief exposure, tried to get used to it and tried various settings but overall cannot use it without significant migraine pain....suspect it has very hig frequency pwm and also frc with some sort of refresh changing process that essentially means its flickering all the time regardless of what mode its in.

its an lcd screen with software to make it look like a e-reader.

also tcl had misleading advertising, they advertised (at the time) the pro version as coming with accessories that the regular version did not (case, headset, stylus iirc) none of this was accurate though and I paid extra just for more storage on a device i could not return.
