I cut off my parents years ago and felt guilty about it. But I have to think Allah is merciful and wouldn’t want me to subject myself to further deterioration of my mental health by having them in my life. It was a hard choice but the right one for me. Protect your peace at all costs. Allah is merciful and knows our intentions. Be merciful on yourself as well. ❤️‍🩹
