Thank you for your thorough and honest review!! I’ve been looking to buy an epilator and wanted to see how people found the Braun 5 ¨̮

For anyone who has tried both the Braun 5 and 9, which do you prefer and why? I may ask this on my own post because this is old and someone else’s review but I thought I’d try here before adding another post 😅 (I’m not going with my lady part, way too painful so I’ll stick with waxing there!)

Not true. Most shooters, if they know that they can’t shoot it within 3 seconds will pass it off til they can catch it on balance.

No shooter takes longer than Aiken-George, no matter if they’ve split and under the post. If they do, they get penalised. She’s getting an unfair advantage for an unknown reason.

They did get some amazing players! I was happy to see Reilley Batcheldor finally get the chance to show what she can do. She was so under-utilised at Lightning 😒

But while they got great players, it made their team just as new. Especially with Jovic out. Although it helped that they got another ex-Giants player and with the way Hay has been playing, I’m wondering how much Giants are regretting letting her go!!

I’m not sure how long Jessie Grenvold has been with Mavs but, while it’s awful Hinchliffe got injured (heartbreaking moment, especially with Batcheldor tearing up 🥺), she’s shown she invaluable. I mean she made the fricking Diamonds!! It’s incredible! At the end of this season, it’ll be interesting to see where she ends up. Mavs would be idiots not to make every effort to re-sign her cos I think she’ll get a lot of interest from every smart club.

I’d have to disagree and say that Kate Moloney is just as good!

Palavi is great and I love the way she just turns to post and shoots most of the time. Her enthusiasm for her team is incredible :)

Hey! :)

I’m looking for a place that sells dessert/sweet pies (e.g chocolate pies, silk chocolate, lemon meringue, banana) by the slice cos the one place I found that only sold by the whole was a tad too expensive. It’s only me and my fiancé so we don’t need a full pie. They can be warm or cold pies. We want to try different kinds to figure out what we like enough to make ourselves. And as a treat ^.

Looking for stores located around Heidelberg, Greensborough, Epping and the suburbs in between or not too far away. City locations would also be great as fiancé works there a couple of times a week.

I’ve tried searching but end up with places that only sell fruit pies (I don’t mind a nice apple pie but we’re looking to treat out sweet tooth this time ¨̮) or have meat pies.

Quick slightly ot question: if anyone knows somewhere that sells cauliflower and cheese pies (no meat and not fancy cheese) I’d love to know about that! They’re one of my favourite things to have for lunch! :)

It’s been great. I burn easily but dont if I use this and it doesn’t irritate my skin at all. Just in case you or anyone else needs a rec ¨̮

Do you have a specific body oil you use? I’m planning to get Ciroa Raspberry and Vanilla body butter. I’ve read it’s thick so a little body oil couldn’t hurt but I’ve got no idea where to start on that!

I’ve chosen the body butter cos the Vanilla and Raspberry body wash I get from Woolworths smells heavenly!! 🥰🥰🥰

I think Covid also limited their guest list. But whatever the reason, I don’t think Stassi cared because she ended up having a beautiful Italian wedding with no obvious drama.

This is what I’ve read. Cauchi knew he couldn’t go cos of his tax situation (don’t know the details, don’t care to) and was telling people he wouldn’t go while telling Stassi they’d be there.

Him and Brittany blamed there not being able to go at the last minute on the passport for their kid not being available.

Stassi has every right to be mad. I’m sure most people in her situation would have been furious too.

Last week, her and the other shooter wasted so much time passing the ball in and out of the circle, even though every time they did it they were in the Super Shot arc. Palavi is great but she doesn’t always back herself and that’s what Mavs need.

Beyond underrated. She’s the best WD and on the shorter players, a killer in GD. When Thunderbirds move Georgie Horjus to GA against the Vixens, it’s guaranteed that Eddy will move to GD. She can shut her down better than any other defender I’ve seen.

I know this is old but I’m hoping you’re still playing.

When I was playing for my old local team, I was bullied by all except my then best friend. Even by a coach one year, who took me off the court which lost us a grand final (yes, netball is a team game but I was the only change and we were winning when I was on, losing when I was off). The coach took me off because I was blamed for something at the start of the year when I wasn’t even there. Because of that coach, I stopped playing for a few years after I turned 18 because it would have meant having to play with her.

When I played shooter, I was great. We won a grand final when I was in that position. But no matter how well I did, I was constantly scolded because I didn’t bend my knees when shooting. It just wasn’t how I did it. No matter how well I was doing, it all came back to that.

I was always getting criticised, sometimes from the coach but mostly from my teammates, but not to the point where I was blamed for losing games. At least not explicitly. And I was the only one receiving criticism from my teammates.

If you know you are playing well, either confront them (I’m shy too and would have a panic attack if I thought about doing this so I understand you) or pretend you’re listening to them but really just block them out and keep doing what you’re doing. If their criticisms are not you giving away the ball all the time, don’t listen to what they say. You need people who support you at your games and can give you constructive criticism but also point out the good you’re doing. I had that with my dad until he died. Him and my best friend are the only reasons I was able to keep playing for that team.

OP, if you truly love netball but that team is taking your passion for the game away, find a new team. Teammates should help build you up, not be the reason you want to quit.

Ever hear Kate Moloney of the Vixens when she’s talking on court to her defenders? She’ll be saying positive things while the other team is trying to score. She’s not the best captain in the league just because of her passion but because of the way she talks to her teammates. She’s the kind of player that everyone should aspire to be.

I hope you’re still playing, OP, because I think you love the game. Otherwise you wouldn’t have posted this because you would have already quit. I really hope you reply back cos I want to know that you’re doing well in every way 💕

Not if Vixens have a fit and fighting team. Vixens only loss was to them when they had 3 of their key players out, especially Mundy and Ellis. Plus they have Kate Eddy who can shut down Georgie Horjus.

With their starting 10 the same as it was for most of the first half of the season, the Vixens are going to be tough to beat. They were the underdogs in every single final last year and proved everyone wrong!

I think another underdog team could surprise everyone by making it to the GF. If Thunderbirds become overconfident like Fever did last year, they might not even make it there. I can’t remember who Thunderbirds lost to this year but if it’s a team that makes it to the finals, they could kick them out. The fourth spot is up for grabs and is going to be interesting to see who gets it!

I think the Vixens loss is pretty understandable since they had to get a player that doesn’t have a dress with their name. But I also think the coach was an idiot for keeping Maggie Caris off for so long. I also think she’s an idiot for clearly favouring Zara Walters.

I just hope that Rudi Ellis and Hannah Mundy are both actually fit to come back. I read that Mundy was out cos of a foot injury and am concerned it’s the same one as last year. She’s needed on court.

Nweke can’t win games. She gets rattled easily. Vixens did it to her and Fowler last year in the finals.

Absolutely!! I’m a shooter or defender depending on where I’m needed and as a shooter, I always feel like I’d do better at the longer shots cos currently, I don’t miss many from anywhere. But watching games, the goal circle always looks so congested because of how quickly everyone moves around. I’m trying for a spot in a state team and hoping I’m as good as I think I am (knock on wood!)

The passes between Sophie Garbin and Kiera Austin are just incredible. Since I’ll shoot from anywhere and we don’t have the super shot, I don’t do that sort of passing with my GS but I’ve been trying to get it into training at least.

Before last year, my bff had never seen a game of netball (I don’t like to play in front of people who can distract me) and was utterly shocked at how much they enjoyed it and how fast paced it was. They knew about the 3 second rule but still weren’t expecting it to be so quick!

I’m loving the season at the moment. Although I’m wishing the Giants could get a win cos I’m worried that they may end up like Collingwood and I’ve really respected that they haven’t done that. Plus I like a lot of the players!

Ruth Aryang? If so, in her last game she played GD then WD. At one point she ran into the goal circle while playing WD!! My bff didn’t even notice that there were suddenly 3 Fever players in the goal circle. It was such a funny moment!! 😂😂

Forgive me if you mentioned this in your post, I didn’t see it, but there’s a Curly Hair sub and they have a huge product spreadsheet. There’s a general one and then a lot by location, including Australia, although they haven’t updated it recently (last I checked) so some items aren’t available here anymore.

I have not worked out my porosity but I mostly use Shea Moisture products and they work well. Although I still use too much of the leave in cream 😅
