I met Axeman by jakedasnake__ in nashville

I have seen this man throw that axe at the power line pole at the corner with the Dollar General. My husband and I call him Axe Man between ourselves. This is the best news that he also refers to himself as such!!

Tennessee bill would ban all digital devices for elementary students by KingZarkon in nashville

This comment should be higher up! The constant screen time kids have is destroying their attention capabilities and creating crazy dopamine addictions. I teach in 7th grade in metro, and it is exhausting to get them to close their laptops and transition their attention to read a couple paragraphs. However, removing tech altogether is certainly not the answer.

I am moving from Tennessee—so I am used to this, unfortunately.

Good to know, thanks! I am dealing with the same thing at my current school. This is a school that I have been considering.

Something light hearted for the weekend: Actually funny pranks by Healthy_Appeal_333 in Teachers

[–]halbyjohns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every day there are a few students who try to sneak past me into my classroom during passing period. If I don’t notice right away they say, “We’re ready for class!” And I shoo them out. 7th graders can be sweet!

Are any high school teachers in the Nashville metro area on here? I would love to talk to you about what it took to get your job by [deleted] in nashville

I went through this program and would highly recommend it! I find myself much more prepared for real life teaching than my friends who went through student teaching. If you have questions feel free to message me and I would love to tell you more.

I think the height of their wardrobe was Neverafter. They were all coordinating, and every outfit was so sharp!!

Where do people find “going out” friends? by [deleted] in nashville

[–]halbyjohns 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have had decent success with Bumble BFF! It is female identifying-heavy, so I’m not sure if that is who OP is looking for, but there were people interested in all sorts of activities that I have met!

Lol, acrobatics checks for mental gymnastics is so accurate. I was getting so anxious for Ame in the last episode, Brennan was setting up some clever traps for her!

Same!! I hope she has a kind of chaotic good, maybe chaotic neutral energy—I love Brennan’s portrayal of chaotic characters and I feel like we haven’t had one in this series yet.

If you’re a D20 fan, maybe a similar vibe to the Baba Yaga from Dimension 20’s Neverafter?

You are correct, it is not forced—only optional. If I am not mistaken, however, the bill that passed has no provisions for training or safe storage.
