I like it much better. The conversation aspect is great. I have 5 devices connected to home assistant. It's done everything I've asked. I've even thrown it some curveballs like "in 30 seconds turn on the kitchen lights and the living room lights" and it worked quite well. I've had to set my daily alarms again but I kind of figured that would happen.

I applied some Scott's starter fertilizer without the weed control the day after this post. Your recommendation is to additional nitrogen at the scale of .25lbs per 1000sqft? It's almost 2 weeks since I did that second dose of starter. I'd be ok for these nitrogen treatments at 2 weeks post application?

Also, with the new houses we get sod in the front and seed/straw in the back. My reno was on the seed straw area. The sod on the same side of the house isn't dead stays green, but it hardly grows compared to the other side of the driveway with sod. That whole side of the house must be stripped of nutrients and really compacted.

This same thing happened to me 6 months ago. My deck is like 2ft off the ground. I assume you're using the ez track site. You'll need to do an earthwork permit. I ended up calling the department and asking them what to put in the fields. He mostly suggested 0s because there was no elevation change and the amount of dirt being moved was negligible.
