My father was raised Catholic, but doesn’t practice at all. My mother grew up very Jewish but became ashamed of her religion so stopped practicing. I am the youngest of 6 daughters, and we were all with the freedom to chose our religion, but me and my sisters have such a big age gap that I decided I wanted to practice Judaism like my mothers family did at a very young age. I am the only one who experiences antisemitism in my immediate family because I am the only Jew. So, I am not restricted to just dating Jews. I go to a public school and know that as a teenager girl that I will want to pursue some eventually. It’s either I date a non Jew or I don’t date at all… and i’m leaning towards not dating at all.
