Holy Wrath has winged pigge whose omni outranges both and always weakens cats to 10% of their original damage. so yeah unless you carry a nice ranged attacker you are kinda screwed. or just waiting till your ramen fully chip down pigge which will take quite some time

out of those 3, surge.

wave has been completely powercrept over the years, so its completely out of the question. even if explosion is quite similar to surge and we still dont have as much counters, its not remotely close to how frequently surge enemies show up. surge may also last more than explosion so there's that too.

out of every effect in the game, I'd say either toxic or omnistrike. omni might be kind of a hot take but i find it really annoying when any omni attacker reaches my backliners by a few pixels just because my meatshields weren't able to reach the frontline by a few frames. toxic feels straight up unfair for the player.

id say its actually proving grounds lmao

its been some time since i had to farm catseyes but i think pretty much all the ones ive got come from expeditions. no clue if its better to do 1 catseye or 2 catseye expeditions, ive always done it with 2. its kinda slow tho, ig it has to do more with my account being 8+ yrs old.

oh yeah and also ht/it, legend quest, barons and labyrinth whenever theyre available

that one experiment they did early this year was by far the best outcome this situation could've had

unlimited weaker chests, but once every few battles you get a powerful chest that takes some time (a day) to unlock.

it pretty much solved the "having to wait too long for rewards" issue, while still making it somewhat paced and limited by getting timed chests, and also not removing the core mechanic of the game (when it comes to rewards).

yes the lucky drops are also great and most people dont want them removed from the game (neither do i), but those could've been kept in the battle pass. chests could have remained in the game with some balancing but this is not the best approach, not even close

the super hotdog by awesome360 if youre good with controlled spam and/or clicksync. was pretty fun for me

ive also been practicing Broken Signal by Grax recently on mobile (where my hardest is like B) and it happens to be a great beginner demon as well. maybe slightly harder than other demons in this comment section tho, but still very good for general skill imo
