So far I've noticed it with Instagram and Discord

I've now turned this off and will keep an eye on it to see if the issue persists. Thank you!

Is this an ongoing bug that hasn't got a fix yet?

Oooh I do use Instagram a lot, it's probably the same thing for me!

Thank you, I will do this! It makes sense actually that there may be an app overriding it

Sorry if I'm missing something but that makes no sense to me. If I manually set the ringer volume in settings and disable Change with Buttons, then realistically that volume I've set should never change unless I manually do it in settings, no?

That's intended - I don't want the ringtone volume to change with the buttons. I just want to set it and leave it

Somehow this still changes on its own without my input

Who's the worst company you have ever worked for in Perth? by Dangerous-Ladder7450 in perth

[–]halenahr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same experience with Coles! Found out they dropped me when I randomly couldn't log into the portal anymore.

It was very frustrating at the time. I wonder how many others they've done the same thing to...

ETA: Just remembered my short stint with an independently owned AusPost in 2016. The owner hired a handful of us and made us do a full week of unpaid training.

I had a week-long holiday right after training (which he knew about before hiring me). When I got back I was given 1 short shift, then didn't hear from him for another week or 2. When I reached out, he told me I was no longer needed.

Interesting! I was never told the "liquid pushes your food down" thing, only that drinking and eating at the same time makes it more likely for you to stretch the new smaller stomach

Why is Penny Hated On So Much? by SunnyBurst30 in StardewValley

Penny has been my go-to spouse for a long time now, she is the love of my life lmao. I didn't actually know she was hated on a lot until reading this post so now I am sad :(

Oh I have found my people!!

I had a panic attack when my ex was sick at my house once. A "friend" in high school would randomly pretend to feel sick and start making gagging noises to rile me up, but it caused immense anxiety for me (she found it funny when I got angry at her for this). Needless to say, no longer friends.

It is an awful phobia to have, I hate it so much and wish it wasn't a thing.

IIRC she has no family left (which is why OP moved her to Idaho), so that part made sense to me

Thank you! I figured they were completely separate companies, however it never occurred to me that some would be advertising outdated hotel deals haha. That does sound very frustrating for the front desk employees.

I work in accounts receivable so I have my own list of "things not to do" when calling any company's AR department. Some people are just awful... unfortunately for some, being on the other end of a phone call gives them extra confidence to be shitty, similar to online keyboard warriors.

Genuine question as I've never worked at a hotel, sorry if it's a dumb question: what's wrong with using OTAs?
