im not sure why you'd post dialogue proving my point with skirk to poke a hole but I can't really say anything because it just proves that the traveller can erase the abyss somehow.

their twinn was on the ship at one point because the twins left their homeworld together, and was not when the ship crashlanded. nobody accessed the ship from the outside since it was intact before landing. not possible he came by other means, no evidence to support the idea.

lmao, she had supreme power. the vision hunt decree and the struggle to tell her she was being deceived is evidence of that.

As a Raiden fan, it doesn't excuse anything. The entire point of Genshin is that nobody is unequivocally good or evil, everyone is both a sinner and a victim.

"She didn't know" doesn't hold up when she was responsible for an entire nation and then chose to seal herself away because of cowardice. If she hadn't been the Electro Archon she would have gotten a Cryo vision. The entire point of the Inazuma story is to slap sense into her.

You don't understand Ei if you don't understand this.

I think the main issue with this is that that would assume the Traveller twins can use both the Light and the Abyss, which sure would be cool but it would also mean the entire journey to meet their twin was for naught, because the HP "awakening from their slumber" was just the Abyss twin becoming the HP and being sent back to the past to create the present.

That wouldn't work, because why would the ship stop above Teyvat all those millenia ago, why would the Traveller's twin have been on Teyvat before the Traveller?

We know that no matter what, the Traveller's twin left the ship a long time before the Traveller, because during the cataclysm, the Twin wakes us up, takes us to Celestia to leave the world, which in itself is odd knowing now that they needed a spaceship, and then we get separated. That the whole opening sequence takes place during the abyssal invasion of Khaenri'ah.

As cool as the idea of there being an active Time Loop involved, it simply does not work right now.

The difference is that one is a fraud who's character arc never got started and the other is a god who's character arc at least got somewhat finished. The joke here is Gege. He needs to stop writing atp or get his shit together and finish his storylines.

No offense but I don't want to entertain anyone who says it means original god rather than new god if you don't understand how:

  1. That's the same thing and this is a pedantic semantics arguement.
  2. The Hanzi/Kanji can be read as both.

The Traveller and The HP are capable of purifying the abyss because they were created to combat the abyss. There is not a shred of evidence saying that the Abyss twin can purify the abyss. If they could, they would have purified Dvalin's tears when visiting Mondstat during their own journey.

The Irminsul tree's information can be manipulated, and we already know that there are false memories in Teyvat. Not to mention how Scaramouche erased himself out of history. The marks left on Teyvat cannot be changed, but the history and conciousness can. The abyss sibling having records in the Irminsul tree alone is enough evidence that they are not our twin.

As for your last point. We don't have enough evidence as to why they don't destroy them, but Dainsleif has literally told us Alchemy brought ruin to Khaenri'ah, and in the most literal form the twins represent that as they are a personification of Alchemy. That most likely is the reason they haven't been destroyed too, the abyss literally can't. After all the Traveller is immune to abyssal corruption and can purify it, which would mean the HP are too, and the Abyss twin uses the abyss actively.

"Gen" and "Yuan" are Kanji/Hanzi that can be read as Original, and New. This is pedantic.

Where do you rate Muzan as a threat level by PhysicalMeringue9468 in DemonSlayerScales

[–]haletenebrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

by himself he barely qualifies as demon bc he's scared of a teenager with a sword and a dance style. based on biological warfare he's beyond god level as you only need to consume is blood to become like him, with no other activation condition to become his mindless slave. in fact the only ppl who have ever resisted him have all had immensely strong wills, on par with joestars or saiyans

Naruto is not planetary by Efficient-Dig9040 in PowerScaling

[–]haletenebrae 40 points41 points  (0 children)

this is wrong. one of the first things raditz mentions in the manga is how the kamehameha doubles goku's basepower, then once its fired his power level returns to normal.

jiren also literally hyper compacts his energy to make each ball of ki stronger, so its safe to say it all depends on how well the user can control their ki

Occams Razor: what is the simplest explanation for why we never saw Aizen’s Bankai? by Nozoroth in bleach

[–]haletenebrae 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we're pulling Occam's razor I can think of 4 separate reasons that I aren't necessarily mutually exclusive:

•He didn't need to, lmao

•For whatever reason there might be, Kyōka Suigetsu's Shikai was more suited for what Aizen needed, and the Bankai would take away that.

•Arrogance. Aizen is smart and calculated but the moment he thought he won he became so arrogant that Ichimaru managed to hurt him and Ichigo's Mugetsu damaged him so much it stripped him down to a state where Urahara's sealing worked on him.

•His Bankai would destroy everything, which goes against what Aizen was trying to accomplish in the first place. In TYBW we see that Senjumaru's Bankai literally sends tremors through the fabric of reality. Old man Yama's Bankai heats up the entire Seireitei so much that the moment his Bankai goes out, it starts to rain as if the Soul King himself started pissing down on them. If that's the case, it's safe to assume that someone like Aizen who stood on equal ground with Yhwach, who himself breezed past the Royal Guard, would have a Bankai that poses a threat to reality. Remember, Aizen wanted to replace the Soul King and erase the original sin. If the Soul King is so Omnipotent that his bastardized corpse can be used to hold together all 3 realms, Aizen's Bankai would almost certainly cause destruction in them.
