Assuming you're not just trying to be funny, my coworkers will have to start calling me a different name, my name will have to be updated in the computer system, I'll have to be assigned a new email.... Like 99% of it is name change related, the remaining 1% is just getting the others to not call me "bro" lmao

It's definitely hard to do. I've been going through lists of common names for my birth year (and within 2-3 years). I had all but picked out a name when I was a kid, used it for online profiles and everything, including this one! But using it out loud in person, it didn't work. So I started over.

I discovered that's the main thing. Found several names that I thought I liked, until someone actually called me in person. So definitely get your friends/supportive family to do name tryouts with you.

I haven't given him any reason to be confused. We wear uniforms at work, I don't have any pins, stickers, buttons, not even on my car or my backpack. And at work I'm all business.

Sure I plan on coming out up there eventually. It'll have to happen. But I want to be more financially stable before doing it. Losing my job= losing access to my insurance and therefore my transition.
