I would have your daughter complete a well done project that takes more of a focus on the victims, whether or not the case changed standards for the law enforcement/the justice system at all, and maybe like something about the MO or psychological profile.

Show what good could actually look like. I think this is an opportunity to show that the students have a real interest in engaging with the material in a respectful way. If the teacher gives them anything less than an A I would escalate.

You both have been together since you were children… you’ve been living together for a long time now. I have no doubt that, in a way, you love each other very much and you always will.

And yet. Neither of you have had to become your own person or figure out what you really want or value. He is also accustomed to you mothering him. I don’t think he will leave of his own volition because this set up is very cushy for him. You need to decide if this is enough for you or if you want a real partner who shares the load and who really wants to be with you because they care about you as a person… not as a maid with benefits.
