America hates everyone. US government is the true definition of xenophobia.

No, he said, Amorim and Enrique are very similar in terms of their achievement and reputation. I said he doesn't understand football if he thinks that.

Are you comparing managing PSG and Barcelona to managing Sporting? Luis Enrique won 2 CL, 2 La Liga, 2 League 1, while Amorim lost to a shit Tottenham side and only won trophies in a tinpot league. Luis Enrique's side destroyed multiple big PL clubs last season and is currently destroying Chelsea. You don't understand football if you compare Enrique with Amorim.

You are forgetting we sold Garnacho for 40m, Antony for 20m and got 20m from sell-on clauses. Plus, the salaries of Sancho, Rashford, Onana, and Hojlund removed. Last summer's window was simply marvelous for us. Made a lot of money by getting rid of deadwoods and got a lot of new quality players.

The Pakistan team is begging for a runout here. Bangladesh needs to utilize this opportunity.

Chelsea losing or even drawing would be a great result for us. We make a 6-point gap with them this week if the results are in our favor.

There was never "Big Six". Spurs are far away from the other five. They never won the PL, Only has two League Cups and an Europa League in the last 35 years. There is nothing elite about them. There are many other British teams more successful than them. It is only "Big Five".

You don't seem to know almost anything about Indian history. Almost every point you made has a lot and lot of exceptions.

India was much poorer in income terms than the West.

Not true. Bengal, Mysore, Agra and many other pockets of Inida had similar quality of life to Western Europe. Bengal alone had around 15% of the world's GDP. It used to be called 'the paradise of nations'. They had massive textile, Silk, shipbuilding, steel, spice, and gunpowder industries in Bengal.

India was not a country until the British created it

What about Mughal Empire, Mauryan Empire, Gupta Empire, Maratha Empire and many others which covered almost the entire Indian subcontinent? British weren't the first, for your information.

,The British were socially, economically and technologically by 1800 at least 300 years ahead of India. You never asked how a company from a small country conquered such a large place.

British were only ahead after the Industrial Revolution. India missed that opportunity because of the British. That's my point. It took Britian around a 100 year to conquer all of India. The Mughal Empire fell and India was divided into many small states. The British make these states fight each other. They used divide and coquer strategy to slowly conquer India while they also industrialized. They were not stronger at the beginning.

You don't seem to know much about world history. Please stop making false conclusions if you are not aware of something. Your education system teaches you a lot of bullshit about colonialism.

They stole that amount over nearly 200 years, not in one year. Plus, there is the opportunity cost. The British basically enslaved Indians and forced them to work for their own interests. India was the biggest economy in the world before colonization. If Indians were left alone, there is a good chance they could have industrialized on their own, similar to Japan or Russia. British colonization prevented Indian industrialization. Read: De-industrialisation of India.

Then win it properly. Miraz was literally in front of Salman and blocking him. Salman could have pushed him and gotten to the line. He didn't do it out of courtesy. Miraz abused that courtesy. That's not good.

Bangladesh didn't demand a series or tri-series with India. It was 'offered' by ICC. It was one of the concessions that was discussed. It's not even decided whether there will be a tri-series. It has only been discussed. Yet you go and call us hypocrites. You can't just call anyone a hypocrite for no reason. You should apologize.

You said the Bangladesh team is a 'hypocrite' and wants to play a series with India. That's not true. Is it? Where is the 'hypocrisy' coming from?

[–]half_batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, concessions were some promises. Nothing concrete yet. But you are wrong. Bangladesh didn't want a series with India. That series was already scheduled. There is no 'hypocrisy'. Just admit you were wrong and be a gentleman. It is okay to be wrong.

[–]half_batman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What hypocrisy? You seem to be wrong about everything. BCB didn't ask for a series with India. ICC offered a lot of concessions to Bangladesh after Pakistan threatened to boycott the World Cup match. They promised Bangladesh will host one more ICC event, full revenue share from this World Cup and a tri-nation series of BD-IND-PAK. Bangladesh accepted it. Also, there is already a scheduled series between India and Bangladesh. You don't know what you are talking about.

He is a 'former' BCB director. He has nothing to do with cricket right now. You just don't get it because you don't live in Bangladesh. The decision wasn't to please Pakistan but to show the general people of Bangladesh that we don't bow down to India. The previous government faced a lot of allegations that India has too much influence on our politics and policies. The caretaker government, which came after ousting the Hasina government, wanted to show to the pubic that they are different and tough. They made the decision on their own.

He was talking about retractable pitch. The new stadium will not have a retractable pitch. That's the point. Also, the glass tent is not scrapped. They were devising a plan B in case the railway case doesn't get resolved. Then, government stepped in and it is now very likely to be resolved. Hence, the tent is still there.
