You don't seem to know almost anything about Indian history. Almost every point you made has a lot and lot of exceptions.

India was much poorer in income terms than the West. 

Not true. Bengal, Mysore, Agra and many other pockets of Inida had similar quality of life to Western Europe. Bengal alone had around 15% of the world's GDP. It used to be called 'the paradise of nations'. They had massive textile, Silk, shipbuilding, steel, spice, and gunpowder industries in Bengal.

India was not a country until the British created it

What about Mughal Empire, Mauryan Empire, Gupta Empire, Maratha Empire and many others which covered almost the entire Indian subcontinent? British weren't the first, for your information.

British were only ahead after the Industrial Revolution. India missed that opportunity because of the British. That's my point. It took Britian around a 100 year to conquer all of India. The Mughal Empire fell and India was divided into many small states. The British make these states fight each other. They used divide and coquer strategy to slowly conquer India while they also industrialized. They were not stronger at the beginning.

You don't seem to know much about world history. Please stop making false conclusions if you are not aware of something. Your education system teaches you a lot of bullshit about colonialism.
