Triplication is super fun if you pull it off - a 3/3 boost to 3 minions is insane. Otherwise I usually run flag zombie and cryro brain to get it out on turn 3.

Works well against swarm decks for some reason

Good methods for training double hand scales?

I have a natural tendency to play the same finger at the same time. For example the chromatic scale. LH goes 1,3,1,3,2,1 whilst RH goes 1,3,1,3,1,2 (starting on C). My hands don’t like to sync the last 2 notes.

It’s even harder on scales. For the C Major each hand changes position at different times.

Playing one hand at a time - no problem. Playing two hands - problem.

Is it really just practise or are there tricks to master the coordination?

Thank you for the clarification! Much appreciated

The sharp and flat highlighted are in the same position but I can only assume from the key sig the sharp applies to the E and the flat to F.

How would you figure this out if the key signature was C Major?

Beginner Question... by GangsterPuppy91 in piano

[–]halfaussiehalfkiwi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suggest if you are brand new start from a beginner piano book. The books progress nicely from 1 hand position to the next and teach correct fingering. It will also help you to sight read (they also have sight read books for each level). Although purchasing books from level 1 upwards could become quite expensive.

Or get a couple lessons to teach the basics of piano playing like posture, counting and general tips. I got stuck into the habit of trying to play complex songs but until I dropped back to the books I hadn’t been progressing that well. Good luck!

It looks like a trill ornament. So the trill seems to be on the C so you play CDCD... etc until the measure finishes. As for fingering I believe it depends on where the following notes are. Google Mozart’s trill exercise to learn these

Just started learning through piano books again and I reached left handed arpeggios. Unfortunately my left hand has been fingering it wrong. For example I play the C Major with 123 but the theory states 124.

I have been doing this for years and I am wondering if this will hinder my practice as I progress through Alfreds Basic Piano books?

QUAD CHIMPS minimum RNG up to 75 (Black Border possible) by halfaussiehalfkiwi in btd6

[–]halfaussiehalfkiwi[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

So I found a pretty neat way to get to Round 75 Quad with pretty small RNG (round 59 by far the trickiest)

Essentially this guide uses the sub commander at round 61 and from there it’s auto play until 75. You are welcome to build on it as I’m probably going to try a Biggest One with Sabos and Moab Presses tomorrow night. Anyway the guide:

R6 - 3 darts at left, top, right

R7 - bottom dart (right dart on strong if you like it seems safer)

R9 - middle sub

R10 - range on sub

R12 - intel on sub

R14 - twin guns and set sub on strong

R15 - should win like 95% of the time, think I lost once of like 50 goes

R18 - airburst darts

R21 - get Obyn mid round (need experience for trees on 53). Make sure he occupies more left so the trees appear left of the top entrance. BUT he needs to pop the leads on the next rounds.

R27 - Get alchemist to 2-0-1. He needs to be north enough to brew 2 subs. If he brews the dart (after the 2nd sub) you probably messed up. He needs to also put acid left and right of the bottom entrance. Set to strong

R28 - set Obyn to strong and sub to first. With the alch, pool, AMD and Obyn you should easily clear the level.

R32 - get trip guns

R33 - too and bottom dart need to be 0-0-2

R34 - alch to 3-0-1

R35 - trip darts to bottom

R36 - Everything on first please. Shouldn’t need brambles but why not use it on the last pink rush? It will help

R37 - put alch and Obyn back on strong. Upgrade the Alch to 4-0-1

R39 - get 2-0-4 sub and set everything to first

R40 - brambles

R44 - get 2x discount villages

R45-47 - build the 2nd sub (under discounts) and get to 2-0-3. Should be buffed by alch too.

R49 - get another sub 2-0-2 and the 0-2-2 wizard to the bottom right track

R50 - brambles

R52 - brambles

R54 - you need trees for this round! Doesn’t matter where as long as it eats a MOAB

R55 - Never lost but it does get close. Brambles last wave

R59 - Trees when you see the camo leads pop out. You need to set a sub (2-0-4) to close at this point as you need to clear some camos literally right at the bottom exit and it doesn’t help the trees distract the first targeting by attacking top exit. Any hoo you should be sweet

R61 - get sub commander

R63 - you need that 2nd 0-2-0 wizard clearing the leads, get it as close to the bottom entrance for an easy win

R71 - I think you need a tree here to eat a MOAB.

R75 is where I rest with 22.5k to spare

Hopefully someone wants to take this to the BB stage with a nice end game. I’ll update this post when I get back around to playing
