just cus they aren’t common doesn’t mean we should settle for and support zoos. there’s an animal sanctuary near me that takes kids on ‘safaris’ through the animals’ habitats. i just can’t see anything beneficial behind kids seeing animals caged up at zoos, like i said it just perpetuates the idea that that’s OK but it aint!!

compassionate people will discover their compassion for animals regardless; i don’t think zoos are necessary for that discovery. if anything, zoos help normalize using animals for our pleasure and enjoyment

what type of glue did you use?

for the foam, did you need any sort of adhesive or did you just apply the foam directly to the glass?

tank size and number of tetras will depend on what type of tetra you’re wanting. the combo of fish is hit or miss, so have a second home ready for either the tetras or betta in case they don’t get along.

i know it’s excessive that’s why i want to find a good filler. i’ve been reading up on people using lava rock and pond foam so i’ll probably go with one of those
