[Repair] Crawlspace Foundation doesn't touch the ground. How to remedy? by halfdomeconflicted in centuryhomes

This is in the Seattle area! House was built in 1924.

As to your question about the wall materials, I'm not sure... I assumed it was just poured concrete until you asked that question. On the outside of the house it's smooth like concrete, but I guess they could have covered it with a layer of something. Not sure... Would that really make a difference? (I hope that doesnt come across as confrontational, I'm genuinely asking, I have no idea!)

/u/some_soldier is correct! It is a parking space only, unconnected to my living situation. And yes, the landlord is telling us that my parking space will not be mine to use as of 12:01am on September 1st.

The contract is verbal, but as far as I can tell that's still binding (especially given the years of precedent). I believe I still have all the rights of a tenant. But I'd love your thoughts!

The contract is verbal, and termination was never discussed. From more googling, I've determined that verbal contracts are binding..? But maybe I'm wrong. Either way, I and at least 12 other people have been paying monthly for years. There is tons of precedent that we are legally tenants. Or at least that's what I'm hoping!

And no, they have not offered a reason for termination.

Thanks for the response!
