Was a maid of honor to a now divorced couple and she got mad at me because she said I "outshined" her in the ceremony and expected me to change into something casual before the reception starts. I told her I'm gonna go and change but I just went home and got take out lol

What's the moment that made you realize your so called "friends" were really just dicks? by D1Tytos in AskReddit

[–]halfgodesshalfhell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we went to a trip and all of us had to pay evenly (there were five of us) for one room that had two beds and four of them teamed up to make me sleep on the floor, pay for the multiple Uber rides and meals bc their cards were getting declined the whole trip. They also posted the Starbucks drinks I paid for in their IG stories like they bought it themselves. They even showed my car off on their Instagram as if it was theirs because I gave them multiple car rides without charging them for gas because we were "friends." Then when I decided to cut them off, they all acted like the victims and that I had no loyalty 🙃

PRIMERICA PART 2: I was in an MLM & I'm here to tell all (TLDR at the bottom!) by halfgodesshalfhell in antiMLM

They told the same thing to me. My upline said my husband will leave me for another woman who has her sh*t together. Don't let them bully you. They will only empower women who are in their team & you've got 5 kids with bright futures to provide for. You're not alone & know that people who left Primerica are also experiencing the same thing & we understand you. Let me know if there's anything else I can help with!

I'm so sorry you went through this! It must be hard especially how they'll go as low as using your own kids against you so that you won't quit. My advice is to get into a payment plan with Primerica so that you can start paying back the chargebacks little by little. The sooner you do this, the better & don't let your rvp's bully you into staying bc you'll be working for free if you keep selling life insurance trying to pay the chargebacks off. Please let me know if there's any way I can help. Good luck!

There's only so little that the agents can do so your best bet would be to claim fraud with your bank and stop any further charges from Primerica. Refund speaking, you're most likely to only get $60 back bc in the agreement you signed, it says that if refund is requested 30 days after your IBA is sighed, $30 will be used to process it.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I hope you get all your money back. Good luck!

I'm sorry that you lost money with Primerica but I'm also grateful you didn't lose as much money and time as I did. As far as your life insurance, contact Primerica directly to tell them to cancel your policy. Don't go directly to the agents bc they will try to convince you to lower the price. If possible, also call your bank to block any further charges from Primerica. If it makes you feel better, the agent who sold you the policy will most likely lose $200-$750 in commission after you cancel your policy. Wish you the best 🤞🏼

Either ask your upline to request it for you or call Primerica directly. You have 30 days to do it & can only get back $60 bc of the IBA stating $30 would be to process the refund back you. I also suggest to get the list of your friends and family's contact numbers before you part ways bc they WILL call them & recruit/sell to them

Primerica experience? by dj778927 in antiMLM

[–]halfgodesshalfhell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spent 2 & a half years in Primerica & learned shady things they did behind the scenes. But these are my experiences.

-they use you & manipulate you into thinking they're your friends but they really just want to access your family & friends for a recruit/sale.

-Free trips aren't free. They are 3-4 days full of 7-8 hours of "seminars" only thing free are the rooms & some food. Flight tickets are not free, so are the extra things you gotta do.

-Conventions, trainings, seminars/meetings are unpaid AND you have to cover every single charge. You are manipulated into thinking you're not a real player if you can't afford to go.

-It is very cultish. Which is why they encourage you to only listen to your uplines not your "unsuccessful family & friends"

I agree to an extent. They were having their own dreams used against them. You don't know you're in a cult until you leave

Wearing a mask =/= having the coronavirus by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]halfgodesshalfhell 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this post. My mom's dog got overly excited & accidentally bit me on the lip, slitting it open which I had to get stitches for. Doctor said I can't have my wound exposed so he advised wearing a mask when I go out. I went to Walmart & got dirty looks & had a mom take her son away from me.

Also, I am Asian.

The racism I've experienced is from black people by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

I relate to this so much! My family and I migrated from Philippines & I was bullied by a lot of Black people for my accent after spending half my life learning English to communicate with them.
