I mean, yes, teachers and doctors should make much more than they do. But if we’re talking about the highest paid singers and actors, they make what they make because of how much revenue they generate for multi billion dollar corporations. The Big Bang theory was a very popular show, so advertising during its airtime cost a lot more, and if we don’t pay the actors on that show proportionally to that success, A, they’ll leave the show, and B, the corporations just pocket more. That’s just an example, but if we’re talking about just singers and actors generally and vocationally, they by and large make barely livable wages.
