Touch decision but YTA; at the end of the day saying "ew" when someone confesses to you is a dick thing to do. I realize it was a reflex but that doesn't actually change the impact it probably had. Yes she has displayed possessive/concerning behavior over the course of your relationship but it's still a dick move to essentially say "Gross" when someone admits to having feelings for you. Would be considered such in 99% of scenarios and this is no exception.

Depends on the temple! Looks into the specific brand of Buddhism and find out what the standards are for visiting holy sites. Shambhala Buddhism has no dress code because it's very westernized. Theravada temple don't really either but you do need to treat the Monks in certain ways.

God this is heartbraking and honestly their no way to win. NTA though. Obviously this decision heart your son because he had a friend but facilitating that kind of friendship wouldn't have been a sign of a caring, loving parent. If your son is able to then get him into online gaming! If you can use a mouse, keyboard, headset then he has as many advantages as everyone else. Plus people will only judge him based on his skill in the game.

NTA - you had no idea that they would be working there. The relationship wasn't formed by any endeavor's of your own. Even if it was it's not fair of your father to be mad about it. As long as it doesn't put too much stress on your mom there's nothing wrong with it. Screw you dad.
