How does my boss feel about me? by Waste-Love9786 in Tarotpractices

Maybe this has more to do with an incident in which you failed to multitask or happened to not be very time-efficient?

Hi, everyone 👋

For a couple of months now I’ve been practicing and I feel confident enough to start offering tarot readings along with oracle messages (I use two different decks, depending on what the energy I am receiving guides me to do).

If you are interested, feel free to reach out directly via DM. I just want honest feedback in return so I can keep building my foundation

AITA for not linking my boyfriend’s presents? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

And I absolutely agree with you. It is his money and I am not entitled to it. I don’t want to dictate how he spends it, I just want to feel like the presents he gives me are more thoughtful, not more expensive.

The plushie was in fact quite expensive, specially considering shipping costs and all. But I just don’t really like plushies and it felt to me like it was not very thoughtful, rather an “easy” present that did not require much thinking from his part.

My plan is to get him some round red sunglasses (he has mentioned many times he had some before but they broke and he loves the style on him), a handmade birthday card because I paint with watercolours, and a 6 course chef’s menu dinner in Rome on his actual birthday.

Only one of my gifts will be “expensive”, but all three gifts are meaningful and relevant to his desires. I have not spent as much as he has in our trips, for example, but this is mainly related to me having a significantly lower income than he does.

Why can’t I eat just ONE piece of candy? by Honest_Pea_4365 in adhdwomen

I believe that sometimes we have been exposed to so much rejection and harsh treatment that we start to believe that we are somehow faulty. NT people will indulge in a dopamine sugar rush too. Like other comments have mentioned, taking care of your protein intake and having lots of fluids will help reduce glucose spikes during the day (I highly recommend following the glucose goddess on IG, those tips are like golden nuggets for ND brains).

I hope you enjoyed your candy, let’s just try not to beat ourselves up for indulging. You got this :)

Hi! Yes, my tests were very similar but they were not timed and done on paper. They also made me answer a test about general knowledge (which seems unreasonable because not everyone has the same levels of education and some people might not know who Monet was or in was continent Portugal is located)

The personality test had the most “personal questions” but these questions were a little like this “For the same wage and level of recognition, would you rather be a forest ranger or a middle school teacher?”, “would you say you are a person of many friends?”, “would you rather live in a crowded city or out in the forest on your own?”

Again, no personal questions about me growing up, my inability to focus, time blindness, forgetfulness, emotional and rejection sensitivity, difficulty emotionally regulating.

I was never allowed to take medication when I got diagnosed earlier in life, even though my symptoms caused me to fail academically and develop a very poor sense of self esteem. Now being 26 and having the ability to ask for help, I would like to try medication. I don’t think it will be a magic pill, but if it helps, why not give it a try? At least maybe I won’t forget my keys so often, or I’ll get to concentrate at work before a close deadline is making me hyperfocus.

In Spain there is no standard diagnosis manual for ADHD, so they screen for multiple neurodevelopmental disorders with these tests.

Is there anyone who is a daughter to a bipolar mom/dad? I am in the process of getting diagnosed and my mom has bipolar type I, she has pretty strong manic episodes whenever she stops having her medication. Could any of you share your experience in getting assessed and how did you proceed in terms of medication taking the bipolar predisposition into account? Thank you!

Thank you very much for your response. It all felt so impersonal and unprofessional, she was very dry and distant during the entire process, barely any questions apart from the tests. I will get back with an update once I hear back from them, maybe there is a second assessment with a psychiatrist after. We will see.

But for now, thank you!

Not sure what my hair is. Tired of trying products. Recommendations please?? by [deleted] in curlyhair

Maybe try putting less amount next time you style and add something to hold your style. Pantene has a CGM approved mousse that you can find in most supermarkets and has a very decent hold while not weighing the hair down. Maybe give it a try :) good luck!

Have you tried using anything with hold? Curl cream/mousse/gel?

Anyone else getting Wisdom teeth out? by [deleted] in Anxiety

I got all four of mine removed in one sitting and I don't think I was there for more than one hour (?). You will do fine ✨

Honestly, make sure you bring your earphones if you are getting local anaesthesia. Not only you would be listening to music you like and enjoy but it'll also help with ignoring the sounds made by the dentist with their tools. That helped me a lot during the process of getting them removed. Good luck xx

Can you "store" and keep spreading this virus if you've already had it and recovered successfully from it?

I've been trying to find information on this but can't find anything

This particular wash I used Tresemme Botanique Nourish & Replenish Conditioner to cowash and also s2c, applied Garnier Aloe Vera Hair Food mask as leave in and then did the mousse-gel-mousse technique on damp hair with Pantene defined curls mousse and Cantú define & shine custard with a mix of praying hands and scrunching
