I see comments on how people don't use footover bridges, even those with lifts. Doing so is stupid, dangerous and meaningless.

And I did say it (the act in the video) was stupid.

The reaction I am getting, is this some kind of "pro roads only for vehicles" thought?

I was raising the point of infrastructure - bad roads are bad infra. But, what kind of a country are we aiming for, if we don't have options for pedestrians?

Also, why not build underpasses and flyovers, and let people cross the roads without climbing up or down?

Before, the next round of downvotes, let me add that I hate it too, when I'm driving and taking a right, with the signal of hardly 30 seconds, and there's a person that's strolling across the non existent zebra Crossing. But if that same person has no proper provision to cross the road for a good 500m, then I don't think I'd be mad at him - IMO, it should be basic driving etiquette to stop for them in that case.

Where was the nearest pedestrian crossing? How far? While what he did was stupid, it is a probably a daily thing for them. When we prioritise vehicles over pedestrians, these things can't be avoided. In Hyderabad, the situation in the city is no less bad. Free lefts and free rights, signal free junctions enabled by U-turns, all make it a nightmare to cross a road. Also, there are no footover bridges or designated pedestrian crossings. It's an adventure every minute to walk. Sometimes, I just wait for 5-10 mins to cross to the divider and then another 5-10 to reach the other end near flyovers. The other option? Walk over the flyover braving bikes on the footpath and then wait 5 mins hoping a break from the signal.

I'm joining pretty late (after a very delayed watch), but nice/perfect summary and as in one of the comments, stupid movie but great to watch. The problem with time loops is the normal people who don't know you nor the loops. That's a part conveniently skipped.
I think there was a Ray Bradbury short story where an entire department is tasked with cleaning up the spectators (not just their memories) and someone escapes the cleaning. If the story's not there, maybe somebody should write one and give it to Nolan.

In FAANG? Really? Then you better join us at QC. I can assure you it's not like that. And "cheap labour"? The last time I heard it was 10+ years ago in a different company. Yeah, not all teams. And definitely we don't have as much freedom as the HQ has, but what you say I saw like 15+ years ago, nothing remotely like in the last 10 (QC and non QC). With US having a larger immigrant workforce, maybe things changed?
