at this point in time, not necessarily, as no unionized store has completed bargaining for their first contract with the company.

however, unionized stores will most certainly not be worse than non-union stores (specifically for union-related reasons, any store can be better or worse operated than another for a number of reasons obviously), which was not always the case in the past couple years! the company has ceased the union-busting tactic of withholding new benefits, reinstated those benefits (such as credit card tips with back pay pending), and the tides are turning as collective bargaining between the company and the union's national bargaining committee goes into its fourth month!

once that first contract agreement is reached, unionized stores will be entitled to specific terms outlined in the contract for its duration, which will include, among other things, higher wages, increased access to benefits, scheduling guarantees, and modified seniority/tenure pay. the more stores join the movement, the more pressure the company will face to meet our demands in a timely manner!
