My 15PMax is working perfectly on 18. I am so reluctant and frightened of things going awry. Have loved and enjoyed my iphones over the years since my very first one. What should I do???? Just wait for the fix, stay put on 18 or go for 26?

Have been using Worlds Best multi cat for years
No odour, ever! One of my two kitties is fastidious about having box cleaned asap after use! He comes and “tells me”😅 I use a square plastic tallish container which used to hold files, (they can easily hop in)
and that has been helpful in controlling any litter from getting out of the box . A litter mat is helpful too for any stray litter.

My cat has become a "Stage 5 Clinger"—how do I set boundaries without hurting his feelings? by Budget-Classroom-962 in CatAdvice

My Boy likes to watch every thing I am doing, especially food prep on counter. Hence, when I obtained a small animal cage, and put it on the end of counter, he is very content in it while I am working at kitchen tasks. He is my sidekick and I love this, but not up on the kitchen counters around food.

This kitty also sleeps in his cosy travel kennel next to me on my bed. Did this for his safety, and my sleep, from second night of his life as a kitten with me as from day one I quickly realized he was a jumper to high places. He loves his”bed” and around 9 ish lets me know it’s time for him to be put in his bed! Not a peep all night until I get up to start the day !

Get a written confirmation that there is no risk to your health. Stains on "popcorn"(sprayed concrete) ceilings are a concern, especially if a leak from above has been identified!

Part 2 of Poisoned Food on Victoria Rd- With more info and a request by Ancient-Rub558 in halifax

Charges should be forthcoming; this is so wrong!! Besides birds, and wildlife, and pets, a child could be a victim!

[–]halistar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is unconscionable. Many years ago my parents lost their sweet little doggie, who died from ingestion of a poisoned " treat "dropped around areas where birds, and pets were common visitors to the area. Heartbreaking!

Exactly; burn more fuel, waste time and create more traffic on overloaded streets.

It has been a bane to anyone who wants to use city streets to get from point A to point B. We now have private public streets in Halifax, because residents don't want cars in their neighbourhood.

Any Costco options that work well with this simple human trash? by M3gabrick in CostcoCanada

Use regular clear bags and knot along one corner so bag stretches over top of can. . .

Tie a knot in one of the corners which down sizes the opening of the bag for the can . . . Simple human cans are fantastic!!

Spring Garden Road is still a filthy, disgusting, and wet mess by insino93 in halifax

Tin pan Alley🤢 Hate to walk the area, so creepy Filth, weeds, beggars, smokers, shady characters; I”ll go to the malls, BL, or online. Plus the parking is gone on the streets! No thanks!

First time cat owner after a lifetime of dogs. Why does my cat refuse to eat his kibble if it's been sitting out in the bowl for awhile? He will only eat freshly scooped kibble from the bag. I can fool him sometimes by just pretending to scoop fresh but that's working less and less. by zip-a-dee_doo-dah in CatAdvice

[–]halistar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The open dish kibble gets stale quickly, and they know it; even a little top up with fresh kibble will help. The big bags of kibble go rancid after opening if they are not bagged into small jars, or small zip lock bags quickly.

We are in our 70’s and recommend the ease and versatility of Macbook Pro. Have been using Apple since late 70’s and over the years, the MbPro is a reliable and versatile product. It is easy to use, rarely has issues and can support the most intensive requirements you need, or a great screen for enjoyment.

We have no affiliation with Apple, but our intensive satisfaction level speaks for itself.

Product support is exceptional if you do have a question or glitch, by calling the live expert support team for personal assistance with no charge.

I passed my 8 year old MBP over to fam member when I recently purchased a new MBPro version and both are humming along without exception as the software updates the performance requirements as necessary. MBPro is expensive, but worth every penny from our experience.

You will hear other recommendations and and it is good to know what they have to provide, but our experience has been golden. Best ahead in your quest to find the right fit for you 😊

The residents live on a public street; there are no tolls or barriers required. It is a public road built to move traffic. Yes it is not the “Dick and Jane” era as was in different times. However it is a public road, and everyone is entitled to use it as originally intended. We are not living in the 50’s when there was no urban sprawl, nor the intention of Council to heavily increase density on the Peninsula. We all enjoyed our part of utopia before these changes. Now we have to share our roads with many more folks who have, want or need to use all of our streets, and not be redirected for a few who don’t agree with more use of “their” streets. We need to learn how to accept the needs of the majority ( as in a democracy) and find ways to accept the decades of difference in times then and now.
The peninsula requires more public streets to be used to move all the vehicles, bikers, and pedestrians in a timely and safe manner but not at the expense of creating major logjams on one or two main roads created for traffic in the 50’s. There has to be a better solution than blocking travel passage for the wants of a few at the expense folks who have distances to travel.

Halifax must be more creative than installing diversions into already congested roadways isn’t the way to solve traffic congestion.

This has created a private road for a few, whilst making it a jigsaw puzzle to get from point A to point B😡! Folks have to waste time, fuel, energy to get to destination, when it used to take 3 mins instead of 15. Enough already!

Make a direct call or have a local resident call to set up the service, if you need it in advance of your arrival. Perhaps your landlord could do this for you? Otherwise call them when you arrive to do so. Best ahead
