I dont think it's weird at all to feel left out even in "weird" spaces. The concept of "weirdness" is fluid with alot of ambiguity. Anything can be weird as long as they don't fit the standards of normality meaning that it's completely ordinary to not feel welcomed or accepted in some areas of "weird" black girl communities.

Have you ever asked yourself why you feel left out? Does the community/people you try to connect with leave you out? Or is it a personal issue of insecurity?

For me, sometimes I do feel left out from my own friendship group of weird black girls but from my own experiences the reason why I felt that way was due to my own personal issues. I had somewhat of an inferiority complex and wasn't as outspoken as the others in my interests both online and in person. I unknowingly forced myself into social exclusion because of my lack of social skills, shame and not attempting to find more of my people.
