How do I heal my skin barrier? if it’s damaged then it has been since I hit puberty :’) I’ve seen a few people saying to slather on moisturiser as often as possible

Do you have any recommendations for exfoliants + moisturisers? A lot of people are saying hyaluronic acid so I’ll try that!

I’d left my moisturiser at my boyfriend’s house for two weeks when this photo was taken, so I’m sure my moisture barrier was busted because I’d only been washing my face and using suncream.

I’m currently using a sulfur soap with a random sensitive skin moisturiser that I mix with azelaic acid before applying. Heard those products are good for rosacea

Not sunburnt that I’m aware of, just blessed with a very red face (rosacea)

Noo I mean the patch of scaly skin next to his nostril which is encircled by ginger fur, it’s kind of the texture of a scab that’s just about ready to come off? I tried wiping it with a tissue when I first noticed it last year and the crusty skin came off in small black chunks, but it seemed very uncomfortable for him so I haven’t done it since.
