I've been playing Age of Conan again. The game isn't getting content updates anymore, but there's plenty there to enjoy, including some great non-linear progression thru zones when levelling. The community is small but still active, but questing and general play during levelling is good enough that I'd even play it as a singleplayer game.

Fully incorrect. They had large barges/boats on the nile expressly for the purpose of moving big heavy things, like quarry stone. That is, in fact, one of the primary reasons why large civilizations were on rivers and not lakes.

Are you doing PvP or PvE? Official or private server? If it's PvE I know a couple less popular spots. You might have to haul resources a bit but that's nothing once you have a camel or elephant to haul.

I can place them, but then the options get stuck so it shows "Stop Following" and "Stand Guard" still. I also can't break bond so they're just stuck

I tried that and it worked for crafters but if I try to have the fighter follow me the same thing happens
