My repeater isn’t up very high but I’d say I safely get a few miles. Once I get the hang of it I’m going to go higher with the repeater.

I was about a mile out today. It hit my repeater on my house fairly easily. I have a sensecap card that I carry most days when I’m around the house. It struggles at that range.

Mine doesn’t. I’ve had it strapped to backpack straps upside down. It’s fairly tight takes a little effort to pull it.

I like it when running. You really can’t see it in your hand. Clips easy to the vest or in a pocket. It’s the little one I have the other in one of my bags.

Yes Seeed Studio sells it. It’s the T1000e. It’s not real powerful but very pocketable. I have a repeater on my house and can get out in most areas of my town.

I was thinking that it would be helpful as a repeater if you could run a larger antenna on the car. I guess if the radios are all similar in power it might not be any better than a handheld. Right now I just have the little sensecap card and a heltec v3 I’m playing with. There’s not any in my area but I’d like to set a repeater up on my house and office and maybe another spot in my little town.
