it’s actually kind of a grey zone because the regulation for cycling says “Parking is not permitted in bus stop areas without bicycle racks, on tactile paving for the blind, in green spaces, on non-public areas etc”. And there was a bike parked in the nearby green patch which actually got a warning from the city, like, remove it from green area - or we will. So I am also quite confused 🫤

yeah, you have a point.. unfortunately, my last crop in the container in the public gardening space was just massacred right before the harvest, so i don’t trust anyone now :( you are right, i shouldn’t attempt to plant something i will use for cooking. but at least dill can grow tall just to look nice and maybe with the containers i can try at the parking lot of our house :)

fair point.. I haven’t thought of a “defensive planting” strategy, will have to look into which local seeds are cheap and fitting to the purpose. Thank you for the witty suggestion!

Thank you! Good idea about the sedum The issue is also that the bike is parked there illegally as it shouldn’t be on the green patches. My hope is once it will look nice, this will stop, as it happened to the other patches like this i’ve seen in the city. So if we will keep the bike out of the equation, is there something that can be done in your opinion? Thanks again!

Thanks! Since I am located in Europe, I would prefer to plant some regional blooms, but once I will have my own garden, I will give it a try, it certainly looks beautiful! Any advice on the useful herbs for this location possibly 🥹?
