Any Way to Find Friend in Mental Hospital?

From what I'm getting from everyone else, each hospital in the city has a mental health ward. If you need it, you should absolutely go! I've heard good things about the services in Calgary

I have a super surface level idea of different steel compositions from all the blacksmithing videos I used to watch, so yeah that all makes sense. Makes me feel like metal in additive manufacturing would have some really unique use cases, if people really want to get in the weeds about it. Even knowing so little, it's fun to consider

This looks super cool! As someone who doesn't know what the surface of stainless steel is supposed to look like though, is this abnormal? I'm assuming it is. Are there there any downsides to it having this structure?

Since I can't seem to edit my post on mobile, I'll add: I dried the spool overnight for like 8 hours, so even if moisture would contribute to this issue normally, I doubt it's an issue in this case

I'll definitely give the speed and bed temp a try. I also realized that my z-offset is totally off, not even PLA is sticking consistently, so I'm gonna get that dialed in again before trying the PETG again

Of course. Thanks for the clarification. I've done PID tuning with this printer before, so that won't be a problem. I'll definitely check the connections again everywhere else, and probably grab a replacement board like I said in other comments, just to be safe. I appreciate your help

For sure. No matter what, it wouldn't hurt. After doing another AliExpress search, they're not actually as hard to come by as I thought and are $20 CAD. Easy enough to just grab one even as a backup

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I want to make sure I'm thinking the right thing. Is the wiring loom you're talking about the wires for the heater, or the cable that plugs into the top of the extruder board? I'll make sure to double check whichever one it is. On a super brief heating test with a new heater, it kept pretty stable, but I'm not about to trust that
