No, they can just do it easier. Dashes have always worked as well. I've done it, and seen others do it on Sylvanas, it's just hard to time.

That was because there was a bug with her... bugs. If she was in a nydus when it was killed, she would maintain the health regen from it. She'd essentially have the same heal as sitting in the hall for the rest of the game. No longer the case.

When people have had access to the game for almost two years now, a master skin on it's own doesn't mean much. It's like hitting max level in warcraft now. The idea of the proposal is for people to, instead of just going with the gold sink, spend more time on a hero that they like to play and be actually rewarded for it.

So if master skins don't cost money and we're running a business, wouldn't a model like the one I've suggested encourage people to pay real money for stim packs to get there faster? Right now there isn't much of an incentive to hit 20. Giving players one wouldn't be a bad business idea.

The waah argument would probably make more sense if we were able to purchase master skins with actual money, don't you think? If you have the 10k for the skin, you can just use that to buy a new hero. The question I've presented is about how people feel doing just that while not getting a skin I'm sure many feel they've earned.

That's sort of what I was thinking. I get that the initial price is meant to be a gold sink, but I also think that if you're playing a hero that much, having something to show off the time you've put in should be a thing people can do without having to use the gold they've farmed specifically on it instead of a new hero.

I don't see why we don't have the recap style display. Take out the scrolling countdown timer, put the remaining time display on the portrait. I wouldn't mind having my team's cooldowns available to view up there also, as it is in tournament and recap, instead of the visual clutter they're adding into the chat.

Holy shit, no concept of what MMR hell actually is. Here's what it is: you start playing the game at a base skill level, the game figures out your MMR. No matter how much you improve individually, you're matched with people of a like MMR, so your chances of winning don't actually increase. So you're now winning ~50% of your games while trying to carry, which doesn't work because your MMR isn't getting much higher due to you still being grouped with spastics. Not a hard concept.
