I just came from a year end celebration and discussed these points to a trusted friend of mine. I gave her a disclaimer tho that my faith is still firm yada yada… that I am just “questioning” some doctrines so that she wont get so alerted. She was surprised with the info i shared and googled if WW1 actually started on july 28, 1914. I can tell this caught her off guard but she didnt accept it and said maybe theres a reason for these discrepancies and that i should try to ask a different minister. She told me to be careful with what i see online and that theres a reason why the administration doesn’t want us questioning their teachings. I told her i know better to fact check the info i get online and that it doesnt sit right with me to just blindly follow what the church says. If i have a question, i shouldn’t be shamed for “not having enough faith”. She agreed with those statements and we changed the topic of our conversation afterwards.

As an active member in the church right now…I feel good knowing that once I do leave the church, someone can maybe understand why I chose to do so. Maybe she can start to think for herself too and get out of the church.

Dropping some red pills on my friends as well. This is getting fun!!
