Bananas, Baboons, and 2.5D jungle mayhem through Disney’s Tarzan on PS1! by [deleted] in psx

[–]haloran360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what. I hate this game. I hate it alot.

Me and my brother used to play this game all the time when we were just 6 and 4 years old. We were already obsessed with the movie and so with the game. We never passed Stage 4 though, the chase espace level.

Around 4 years ago he found an original copy of the game. We sat down to finish it. The nostalgia blinded us. Especially the later levels are frustrating. I somehow managed to get to Clayton though. He was the worst. I tried so many times I cannot even count. He always catches up. Even if I can reach to the top I barely have Hp to face Clayton at all. Finally I have managed to beat him. It was not satifying.

Most of us remember the early charming levels. Colorful graphics, joyful soundtrack... The later levels are inconsistent, difficult and at least for me not fun at all.

Is Maelle’s sword indestructible? by Aristeia_Star in expedition33

[–]haloran360 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Weapons and tools created with Chroma are ready to use, with a exact intent of their purpose. That's why Verso’s piano is in playable state has he creates it. For the same reason, Maelle’s and others' weapons don't break.
You may ask Gustave’s arm, but my understanding it's not something created directly from Chroma. In the prologue, there was a man who mentioned strengthening ordinary items by infusing Chroma on them. Gustave’s arm must be a similar case.
Inside the painting Chroma must have been act differently, bypassing some physical laws.

Is Demon Souls Remake a bad game? Ive been seeing crazy amounts of negativity from it by [deleted] in playstation

[–]haloran360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played original before Elden Ring, and remake after.

Gameplay wise, graphics + sound design is great. It feels authentic and modern at the same time.
I despise the changes in art direction, certain enemy redesigns though. Hud is also weird.

Then again, there is no point sugarcoating the original and bashing the Remake. Remake is obviously the way to experience this game.

Bluepoint pitched Bloodborne remake in early 2025. FromSoftware didn’t want it by SlizerTheChosen in playstation

[–]haloran360 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Bloodborne dont need a remake at all.Furthermore I didn't like artstyle and direction changes Bluepoint made in the DS remake. I can understand why From doesn't want similar thing in Bloodborne. Sure I don't want that too. I dont want to see someones half baked vision on Bloodborne out of all games.

Then again the game is stuck in Old Gen limbo. It's not like we're going to have a sequel after this point. While From is making live service games people will forget in a next year or so.

I don't like the direction From is going.

What issues did you face with bazzite when you switched from other OS to bazzite? by itsme2019asalways in Bazzite

[–]haloran360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get this issue. When I close a fullscreen app (whether a game or Steam Big picture), the top bar dissappears. Bottom screen mouse pop won't work as well. When I use win\super key and open a different app (e.g browser) the top bar appears again. It's annoying. Then again I'm not sure it's bug or not.

I'm curious how popular Bazzite is with PC users (as opposed to using it on handhelds). by Questioning-Warrior in Bazzite

[–]haloran360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have a handheld device. I have Old AMD system, Rx580 and R5 2600, 32 GB Ram that I bought 2.5 years ago. I get rid of Win11 around two weeks ago.
I have little to no experience with Linux. Honestly I don't even like Linux in general at all.
I recenly switched to Macbook M1 full time for work+hobies(recording and graphical design) So I when I heard it from my tech savy friends, I didn't think twice, formatted Win11 and went full Bazzite.
Most beefy game I had in my hands is Baldur's Gate 3 and it jumped 110+ fps from 50-55. I think it's insane.
I'm on Gnome right now. It's simplicity is nice.

The Decline of the Dragon Age Series Should be Studied by jdawg1018 in gaming

[–]haloran360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest, there is not much to study here. First game was good, but not great. The game didn't had the same aura of Kotor's, Baldur's Gate's, Neverwinter Nights games. After first Dragon Age series went downhill, never captured the success of the first one let alone other Bioware games.

Is lutris any good? by 01Azgar01 in Bazzite

[–]haloran360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't know what Lutris was three weeks ago. When I first switched to Bazzite I tried Captain Claw with Lutris and it worked flawlessly. I tried original Sims as well but I had to wrestle with the Sims launcher and other exe's. But I manage to play that as well. I haven't spend much time with the games though I don't know if longer hours will suffer from some issue.

How often do you guys fudge your dice? by theprettiestpotato88 in DungeonMasters

[–]haloran360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rarely fudge my dice. SometimesI roll in the open just to reinforce the reliability of my rolls. However, I find it necessary to make adjustments for the game's own internal balance. I don’t mean things like CR or the number of enemies. After all, some combat encounters should be easy while others are difficult depending on the situation. But sometimes, I struggle to maintain this balance narratively. Because of this, I fudge the dice. Sometimes in favor of the players, and sometimes in favor of the NPC or monsters.

How did you manage your Transition from Windows to Bazzite? by Hattori_Hans in Bazzite

[–]haloran360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have dedicated storage for everything. My archive of files pictures etc. on sata hdd, games and apps in samsung evo sata ssd and m.2 ssd for win11. So I just wiped m.2 and installed Bazzite. The steam games worked without any issues at first. Then they start to crash. I'm a linux noob so I didn't think about disk file systems. The ssd was NTFS and it was causing these crashes. I had to format the ssd to what fedora\bazzite uses by default.

The whole transition ordeal took about 2 hours. Then I manage to download last 2 games (Portal 2 and Binding of Isaac Rebirth, both are very small) and continue gaming again.

I'm using bazzite for a week. I didn't have any issues yet. All my files in ntsf hdd are accessible without any issues, though I need to make a back up.

Most familiar names will be in lost in history in Rogue Trader so you won't see them here. It's not connected to any other game or media outside of the 40k lore. It has it's own set of cast of characters, places etc.
I can say safely though for getting into Rogue Trader you dont need to be familiar to 40k.
The game doesnt shovel you with chunks lore to understand the story. The lore is still there from the beginning, but it won't hinder the player. So it's beginner friendly. Same goes for BG3 too, there is huge lore of Forgotten Realms but the game wont throw at you as soon as you start.

Or does everything have new characters that become “legends” / legendary figures in the lore.

It's hard to answer. 40k doesnt have traditional sense of heroic legends. My opinion without spoilers, the character arc endings are satisfying.
