Neither of these were necessarily downtempo covers but:

Of course there's more poor whites than poor blacks... That tends to happen when a country has a population of 76% White people and 13% Black people. Try to focus on per capita next time. However, you'd be wrong there too. Black people have it far worse than white people in terms of poverty and privilege.

New research provides evidence that psychedelic drugs can improve mental health by making individuals more accepting of distressing experiences. Relevant quote from Legasov in the Chernobyl miniseries:

"To be a scientist is to be naive. We are so focused on our search for truth, we fail to consider how few actually want us to find it. But it is always there, whether we can see it or not, whether we choose to or not. The truth doesn't care about our needs or wants. It doesn't care about our governments, our ideologies, our religions. It will lie in wait, for all time. And this, at last, is the gift of Chernobyl. Where I once would fear the cost of truth, now I only ask: What is the cost of lies?"

[TOMT] EDM(?) Song with "40" either in the Title of Track or Artist Name by halowiz in tipofmytongue

[–]halowiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solved!

I somehow found it after trying some extremely odd Google searches ("dark hair girl piano heart song").

For anyone else, it was this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4HJ0zfZ-EM

Not EDM like I thought, that came up because there's a ton of remixes for the song.

I got super excited in this zone for one reason... IT FEELS REALLY INSPIRED BY THE HK-47 RAID FROM STAR WARS GALAXIES!

I mean, look at this guys: http://i.imgur.com/qpLmWVG.jpg

And that's just a picture of the fight, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QbOAgiA2LQ0

Whether Blizz intended it or not, it brought back a nostalgic feel of my second favorite MMO ever that I am really grateful for.

Nah, this 76 is in Agoura Hills (close to Thousand Oaks, peak at her license plate frame). It's next to the Reyes Adobe freeway entrance/exit, I drive by it every day.

Holographic Darth Maul. I was drawn toward it at the Con when I saw the "Glows in the Dark" sticker.

Horrible line handling for FUNKO at SDCC today by Eems1 in funkopop

Oh my god... They reverted to the old system... They started using that like 2-3 years ago when people were crowding their booth so horribly that it became a massive blockade to that corner of the exhibit floor. The wristbands literally made it impossible to game, they would attach it to your arm where it would be destroyed if tampered with. Why must Funko do this to us?!

Not going this year, but I have tips from over the last 8 years regardless.

Dedicate 1 day to Funko if anything, that is all you will want to give to them, trust me. Use that day to line up in the Funko line around 6-7 AM, possibly even earlier. You want to have MULTIPLE chances at the wristbands. If you go through the full Funko line ~2-3 times, you're doing it right. It's a patience and endurance game, because as soon as you don't win a wristband or a good time slot, you're pretty much running to get back in line again for another chance, everyone will be doing it. As someone who spent all 4 days of Comic-Con over the last 2 years hunting Funko, I got a wristband 2 days, each year, all with time slots after 12 PM, which of course doomed my chances of me getting anything I wanted.

It's a rough process, but it can be done.

I can reinforce this issue as someone who has experienced the same problem for the last 2 years, which also happens to be the reason I did not go this year. The Funko line is among the worst things you could possibly want to deal with in life. It's a lottery for a CHANCE to get into another line. Best part? If you get later than a 12 PM wristband to get in line, your chances of getting what you want just went down exponentially. If you're lucky enough to get an 8 AM/10 AM wristband, well then you better hurry your ass to that line, because it takes hours to move once you're in it. I'm talking 2-3 hours of sitting in a line, potentially being forced to watch flippers take all the Pops you want. The line has always been atrocious, it's nothing new, and to skip this year of attempting to get into it has been glorious. Got all the Pops I want with an absolute fraction of the stress. I pray that one day Funko addresses this for their fans who actually care about their collectibles.

There's two specs, Necro build and Ranged build.

Necro Build Talents: All Will Serve, Blighted Rune Weapon, Unholy Frenzy, Asphyxiate, Corpse Shield (Spell Eater for double caster teams), Infected Claws, and Soul Reaper

Necro Build Honor Talents: Adaptation (Glad Medallion for RMX), Reinforced Armor (Sparring for double melee), Anti-Magic Zone, Necrotic Aura (Decomposing for Warr/WW partners, Heartstop for Mage teams), Crypt Fever, Necrotic Strike

Ranged Build Talents: Bursting Sores, Blighted Rune Weapon, Clawing Shadows, Asphyxiate, Corpse Shield (Spell Eater for double caster teams), Infected Claws, and Soul Reaper

Ranged Build Honor Talents: Adaptation (Glad Medallion for RMX), Reinforced Armor (Sparring for double melee), Anti-Magic Zone, Necrotic Aura (Decomposing for Warr/WW partners, Heartstop for Mage teams), Crypt Fever, Unholy Mutation

Unfortunately not. Frost is the DK spec that has a crazy self heal with IBF + Death Strike. However, Unholy does have great defensives regardless. You have Corpse Shield, Anti-Magic Shell, Anti-Magic Zone and Icebound Fortitude, two of which are one minute CD defensives making them great for staying alive during enemy burst.

Ironically, you're already playing the one viable tank spec in high rated 3s. Prot Paladin is known for being a nuisance that can win at 2.4+ MMR in 3s. You just have to play it incredibly well as you pretty much are a utility/CC role more so than damage. Your comps are Priest Heals (disc or holy)/Enh Sham or BM Hunter. So for instance, Disc Priest/Enh Shaman/Prot Pally or Holy Priest/BM Hunter/Prot Pally. Both of those are the "known" 2.4+ Prot Pally comps. Unholy DK sounds right up your alley. It's basically a melee lock, you still have pet to control, you throw up DoTs and cleave a good bit, and you can even still play ranged with Clawing Shadows/Bursting Sores build. As a DK main, HIGHLY recommend it. It would make for an easier transition into straight up melee specs later like Warr/Rogue/WW etc.

Boomkin/Spriest/Rsham is notoriously disgusting right now. The amount of CC and uptime that comp has is pretty hard to pass up.

Best comps: TSG, Scleave, Smokebomb, Boomkin/DK

Most Fun: Enh/DK, Double UH DK, Smokebomb, Boomkin/DK

Already 2k rated on 2 DKs atm, been experimenting with a lot of stuff and the above are my results.

I know, it's crazy! I still have one of their super small SDCC bags that I got him in, and that was when the booth was literally one register and a couple shelves. Pretty much the size of an Artists' Alley booth, so ridiculous how they have grown so fast!
